No Dancing In The Lab (Open)

[Rin]

“hmmmm” Rin said as the woman spoke. She bit the chalk and spit it back out. Eww.. nasty. A cookie appeared from nowhere and she ate it to replace the taste. She offered the uneaten half to the other girl seeing no problems with this. It wasn’t like she cared if other people ate after her.

“So why do you want to know about magic?” Rin asked when she realized she wasn’t going to get and comment or anything else from the ‘accident’. Well that was fine in itself. Though she would have preferred some form of rise out of the girl. She would just pass it off as unnotable then. She had clearly known she would get nowhere with the suave thing she ahd pulled on Lumi. Wait where was she trying to get?

Ohh right other than out of this place she was passing time until she COULD get out of this place. The girl was just the most fun object in the place at the time.

"It is interesting." she said, looking at the offered cookie. Accepting, she broke a piece off and took a tiny bite, "And I hope to research it further. Once I understand more about it, I will be able to find ways of replicating it's results."

This was, perhaps, one of the longer conversations she had held with someone other than Arkady Aurelius. And it didn't even revolve around science. Well, not directly, anyways. How odd.

At least all of the groping had ceased. She wondered what the purpose behind it was. If there was any. Perhaps that was just how fox-eared women were. She would have to make a note of that.

[Rin]

Hmmm… the topic was BORING she wanted to do something fun. “So… what all does your research entail?” She asked leaning her back against the woman’s arm. She turned and leaned her side against the other woman her arm resting on the others leg… or cloth around her leg. Whatever it was all fine. She wanted a confrontation. New goal of the day… get the woman to do something before she got out of here.

Something other than just answer questions and pretend she didn’t feel her up… which if the woman showed no response she planned to. She could think what she wanted of her kind… as long as Rin had fun she didn’t care what the woman thought of her. She wondered which would be more fun. Seeing the girl in a sexy way… or angry way?

Ooo or better even BOTH, but that was rare. So she could only hope for one. both presented such fun opportunities. She couldn’t imagine doing just one.

Rin continued to lean against her. And shift about. And do other things, attempting to....

Well, Zdena wasn't sure what the end goal was. For whatever reason, the fox-woman just refused to acknowledge the concept of personal space. Oh, and she was asking more questions.

"As I said, the ultimate goal is to replicate magic's effects." she said, "Well, partly. I also have my obligations to my company. So, there are the more practical research that I have to do, in addition."

And no, there was no other reaction to Rin's tomfoolery. She just stood there as the fox-eared woman continued to move about, all the while leaning on her.

It seems her beating around the bush was going to get her nowhere with this one. What was she going to have to do yank the woman’s clothes off or slap her around? Not that that sounded like a bad idea… no that would go a bit to far… maybe. So she waited and decided to present yet another question. What do you mean replicate its effects… why don’t you just use magic?” Rin asked as if it were the most sane thing in the world the think.

Her hand reached up to grab at the hat on the others head. Other than the fact that it would be so cool and fun to wear one Rin thought it might draw something out of the woman as well. If nothing else she would get to wear the hat, but she hoped for more.

"Not everyone can use magic. I have found that I am one of those people." she replied, "So, if I can find other means of creating it's effects, than it should prove very useful."

A hand moved towards her hat. No, she certainly couldn't be attempting to swipe THAT. Could she? Apparently so. Calmly, she moved the hand away, but didn't so much as flinch or bat an eye.

"Please do not touch my hat." she requested, "I would rather it stay in place."

[Rin]

Aww… she didn’t even get THAT much out of the girl just a simple moving of her hand and a telling… with no anger not to touch. Well that was just the hat. She didn’t say anything about her… other parts. Rin would have to test out a bunch of things it seemed while she talked to the girl.

“Can you not even use some items that grant magical power? There are a few that draw it innately from the air after all and you merely need the ability to connect your mind with it. Thoguh you’re mind could be shut off from such things in defense. I’ve seen that one before.” That would suck. How did the girl defend herself then? After all you could only really deal with magic by the use of other magic. Anything else was a BIT underpowered… or made things worse.

Rin moved around to the front of the girl no longer leaning on her and moved her face up to the girls chest. Maybe this one would work… she poked a finger out and then grasped with her hand the girls left breast. A light squeeze then she let go. It felt good to do that. Now she could calm down a bit… and she may even have made the girl angry wouldn’t that be fun?

"That is one solution. But one would need to seek out an enchanter, or seller of enchanted items to procure it." she replied, "So, if I can manufacture methods that reproduce these effects and make them easily accessible."

A notebook shot out from one of the shelves and opened to a blank page. Rin's remarks on magical items were immediately jotted down. As the fox-eared girl groped her chest, Zdena did not appear to notice. That was, in fact, the exact reason there was no reaction.

Deep in concentration, she made sure that the new notes were as close to what Rin had remarked as possible. She was particularly interested in how these items drew from the air and the connection with one's mind. Which was very similar to how she used Effie.

"Hm...if the mind is shut off, then perhaps there is way to turn it on...and then, there may be ways to amplify these effects...." Zdena mused, aloud.

[Rin]

Rin was angry now the girl hadn’t done ANYTHING. She was tempted to do it again this time harder… and maybe to both of them. Maybe she should just strip that may fluster the girl… no She would probably just take notes about what Rin looked like without clothes on. Then Rin would be recorded in history… by her body appearance to some crazy book readers back in the crazy country this girl came from.

Calm down Rin it wasn’t like the girl was your normal everyday woman/girl… female being. She would just have to try harder. “Well I can sell you the enchanted items. If you buy the right kinds and in high enough quantities I may even give you a discount.” Rin said her merchant side talking without her thinking about it. After all her mind was trying to come up with a new way to get at the girl.

Rin didn’t do the physical pain thing, but physical pleasure didn’t seem to be effecting the girl in the least. “Hmm it’s not like they are shut off so much as people have put up walls to keep out anything that may attempt to invade them. Then some specie have these walls naturally put up and must learn to unlock them. You could try to find one of them for a better understanding.” Rin said as her face moved forward and she pressed her face between the girls breast. Though the clothes were in the way so the effect wasn’t the same as she liked. It was still nice enough and she removed it.

"Yes, yes...I was speaking in a more metaphorical term." she nodded, "But, you are quite right. And I should study these forms of defenses. They could prove useful."

Rin, despite being overly "touchy" was actually being quite a bit of help. The information she had provided led to what could possibly be a break through in her research. Already, this trip was proving to not be a waste of time. And that was good.

Meanwhile, a face was in her chest. Zdena blinked once at Rin, deciding that this was a most peculiar species. While knowledgeable, their actions seemed to have no purpose whatsoever. Most puzzling.

"Thank you, you're information has been most illuminating."

[Rin]

The girls smell was still in her face and after the remark and lack of reaction Rin planted herself between the girls arms and blocked the girls view of the book. She would get her attention this way… maybe. Why was she so concerned about this again? Ohh right she was trapped her with the girl until she was let out. Rin’s arms made their way around the girls shoulders and her head c0cked to the side.

“You know you are the first person to do nothing when I touched them like that. Perhaps you would explain for me the reasoning behind this?” She waited a moment then added. “Also you’re welcome.” She hadn’t really been paying attention to what was being said, but she remembered the gist of the conversation.

The book merely vanished, as it reappeared in it's rightful spot on the shelf. Zdena did not need it anymore as she had already recorded in it, what she needed. Now Rin wanted to know about her behavior. That was a more philosophical question. Perhaps even metaphysical. But, Zdena was getting carried away.

"There was no reason to react. So, I didn't. Besides, there was work to be done."

That should settle things nicely. A short, crisp and honest answer. What possible fault could Rin find in that logic?

The illusion around them began to fade and almost seemed to be drawing back into the orange orb, she called Effie. The Ballroom had returned to it's original state.

"There. You should be able to find the exits." she said.

[Rin]

Grrr… all the effort and that was the answer she got hmmm. She would have to deal with it it seemed. Her eyes however were drawn to the orb. And though her hands did not release the girl she could easily have stepped away. “What is that thing?” Rin asked her position in front of the girl still.

Screw the exit she wanted to know what that was. It had clearly created the uhh… whatever the girl had called it. And it clearly was quite powerful… so it was expensive and aside from the inate curiosity it was drawing her in for monetary reasons.

"This is Effie." she said, "Effie is an experiment. So far, it is performing optimally. However, it's creation was....difficult. And it's applications are slightly limited. It is not ready for market. Hence my need for further research. I need practical applications."

Which, of course, was not say that she was disappointed in Effie. Quite the contrary, she was very pleased. It had suited her needs perfectly.

[Rin]

Darn… there went something interesting. She had hoped to at least… ‘procure’ the item from the girl in a sensible fashion. She could exchange a service for the thing. However, that went out the window when the words ‘not ready for market’ left the girls mouth. “So… what does it do.” Rin asked. Just because she couldn’t take it didn’t mean she didn’t want one at some later time. And should she know what it did that made thing easier… in her circles at least.

“Maybe you could let me… play with it?” Rin asked before the girl could tell her what it did. Play with… mess with till it broke. It wasn’t her fault if it did that… she played hard with test objects before buying… right… she forgot she wasn’t allowed to buy this one… ohh well it could still be fun.
