GENERAL APPEARANCE: In her human form, Scheri appears as a tanned young woman with waist-length silver hair. Though she keeps her right eye covered at all times, her left eye is clearly violet. A generally ordinary girl, she stands at 5'6" and has no outstanding body features aside from her navel piercing. However, in her naga form, Scheri takes on a much more ethereal appearance. Her entire body brightens. Her hair becomes snow white, her skin lightens a few shades, and her eye appears a brilliant green. Though she often changes clothing, it is worth noting that in her human form, Aaris always has the same navel piercing, and in her naga form, she always keeps a belt of jewels around her waist. In either form, she prefers to wear as little clothing as possible, if not going completely nude.

PERSONALITY: Despite her divine powers, Scheri sometimes seems like more of a normal human than normal humans do. She is amused by small things, such as shiny objects and spinning tops. Despite this, she is extremely wise and appears to enjoy passing her widsom on to those interested in listening. She has a great natural curiosity that, while making her seem childish at times, leads her to question how or why even simple things work. Generally benevolent and amiable, she believes in giving everyone a chance, and as such, sometimes blindly believes what she is told unless she blatantly knows otherwise. For this reason, she doesn't easily make enemies, unless others prove themselves untrustworthy.

As nagas are nature spirits, Scheri has an intense love for the environment. She greatly enjoys being in the presence of trees, flowers, and especially water. Naturally then, those who abuse or disrespect nature easily incur her wrath. Fortunately, this doesn't seem to be an immediate issue. To all around her, Scheri is anything but malicious. Though she can be a bit mischievous, she's never implied that she is anything but playful. She enjoys teasing and simple pranks, however, because of her great power, her pranks sometimes seem much more severe to humans than they do to her. Despite often being sympathetic to humans, she is rarely willing to intervene, as she believes it causes a dependency upon divine intervention and stifles individual growth.

MAGICAL ABILITIES: As a naga, Scheri has godlike abilities, not the least of which is immortality. Nagas have the power to bestow blessings upon those they like, those around them, or both. These blessings include bringing wealth (both physical and spiritual) and fertility. Inversely, Scheri can reverse these blessings, causing infertility, droughts, or poisoning water. Nagas are also shapeshifters, meaning that Scheri can take several forms. She can appear as a human, a snake, or a hybrid of the two, among others. An extension of these shapeshifting powers allows her to take on a hermaphroditic appearance at will, and she is fully capable of either giving birth or impregnating other women. Other abilities include superhuman speed and strength, prophetic visions, healing, and materialization.

BACKGROUND: As an immortal, to recount her entire history is impossible even for Scheri. Little to nothing is publicly known about her. Six months ago, she simply appeared to Karishima Yumi and offered her services to her. Though Scheri has openly admitted that "Scherzando" is not her real name (simply that it would do "for the human tongue") and that she is not from Terre de Conte, Yumi is the only person that is aware of exactly what she is. Despite this, Scheri has hidden many of her abilities from Yumi and claims that, although she'll gladly work for her, she does not acknowledge her as a mistress, but more of a partner, as they mutually benefit one another. She does not enjoy being ordered, but will more often than not do things for Yumi if asked politely. She apparently knows of Yumi's plans, but has made it clear that, although she's interested, she neither wants to help Yumi nor hinder her. She simply wants to enjoy the show.
