PERSONALITY: Virgilia used to be a talkative girl that loved to sing and use her voice in any way. But after getting her tongue cut off no one has ever heard her voice. As a mute she learnt how to listen to others and express her feelings with her hands. She started spending more time in the forest listening to the sounds around her.
Virgilia is a warm-hearted and empathic girl that always seeks to find something good in every single person she meets. Though she’s nice she never touches others because of her ice-cold skin that most people find uncomfortable to touch at least in her homeland. Virgilia always does her best to be happy on the outside no matter what happens to herself and is usually a lively and energic woman even though she can’t talk. As a princess she also know when to be calm and she is a very intelligent woman.

BACKGROUND: The queen and king of Bernkastel had a secret to the people in their country. The king was sterile and therefore couldn’t have a child of his own blood. He was about to agree to the idea of letting his brother’s son inherit the kingdom, but then he found a little girl around one year old outside his castle. The king felt himself dragged towards this baby and took her inside the castle, wanting to keep her as his own daughter. But the queen and king soon discovered that this girl was a bloodsucker, which was feared in Bernkastel. Queen Lavinia wanted to kill the baby at once but the king didn’t have the heart to do it and made a compromise with his wife. The little princess would never get to taste human blood in her life, only animal blood and if she ever sucked human blood she would get punished.
As the years went by Virgilia learnt how to hate her own kind and she was raised by the queen and king as their daughter, though the queen never showed her any love and was always very strict. Virgilia thought she was a human herself until she turned twelve and was out for a ride. There she met an old vampire lady that told the princess about her true nature and the reason why the princess always felt sick and weak, why she had to take her ‘ red medicine’ every day and also why she felt herself dragged towards a special smell that came from the people around her.
After knowing this Virgila would try anything to make herself stop wanting human blood and tried anything to make herself a human. This gave her good control of her blood lust though she fact that if she didn’t get a glass of animal blood trice a day she would enter a state where she would loose control of herself and attack the first human she could find, would never change. When the princess lost control she would then suck out all of the blood in the persons body and maybe try finding more depending on how much blood the sacrifice had until she was satisfied. This would bring her true vampire form out and her powers would be much stronger.
15 years old Virgilia was kidnapped and taken away from Bernkastel. The ones who kidnapped her wanted money from the kingdom if they ever wanted to see Virgilia again, though they never got the money. The kidnappers beat Virgilia and cut off her tongue leaving her in the cell for hours as they waited for the kings reply but soon Virgilia lost control over herself and broke out of the cell, killing all the kidnappers. She then returned to the castle as a mute and it took years before she managed to recover from what had happened and accept that she could no longer talk.
