HAIR: A soft brown, matching the fur on her ears and tail.
EYES: A warm, rich brown.
GENERAL APPEARANCE: Large, rich brown eyes dominate Tawny's face, giving her a fresh and youthful look. Often lit within by a calm happiness, they are expressive and reflect her moods, frequently carrying a happy brightness or a mischievous glint. Her hair is nearly always worn loose, running down beyond her shoulders to her mid-back in a straight, natural cascade. The soft auburn brown matches the twin vulpine ears which emerge from her hair slightly above where a human's ears might be, though the ears are tipped in a pure, white tone of fur.

Built of relatively small stature, the Spirit-blooded girl has a relatively slight and short frame, though she is scaled fittingly, her breath present but not excessive, her hips curved, but not inordinately so. Her feet are notably dainty despite all the walking she does, small and soft to the touch. Perhaps the most notable feature she possesses, however, is her single vulpine tail. Long and furred in the same tawny hue as her hair, it is visible nearly all the time, as her clothing is altered to provide room for the tail to emerge comfortably.

Her clothes are generally well-mended, simple designs which most peasants could easily afford. However, they tend to have more color and style than usual. She decorates herself with a variety of anklets, bracelets, and necklaces. all rather simple, lacking much in the way of jewels or precious metals, though she does possess several that are more ornate.

PERSONALITY: Generally very bright and at ease, Tawny rarely seems anything less than positive and energetic. Casual and rather friendly, she is generally very accepting of others and their unique oddities, though not to the point of condoning immature behavior, generally. Despite this, she can at times prove rather playful, and can be somewhat of a trickster from time to time, perhaps a result of the kitsune spirit blood in her.

Tawny can be rather insightful as well, and is fairly good at maintaining a peaceable relations even with someone she might not fully agree with.

• Mother: Hitomi - Kitsune Spirit, she watches over the Oaks Barony as a protective spirit, and still lives. She has only occasional contact with her daughter, and less with other humans.
  
• Younger Brother: Baron Talan Oaks - Tawny's half-brother, and the current controller of the Oaks Barony. He's aware of his sister, and she of him, and he would resent any effort she made to claim control of the estate.

BACKGROUND

Twenty-some years ago, when the unmarried Baron Adrian Oaks obtained the rights to his family estate, he decided that he would put the land to use as an Orchard. And over several years, as his servants and serfs worked the land and served dutifully, their lord remained single. However, few of those serfs truly knew about the spirit who watched over their land. The lord, however, did. Hitomi, a fox guardian spirit of the land, a Kitsune, she had made a bargain with the man to permit him using the land for an orchard.

Part of that bargain, which left the land fertile for ages, was that the Baron must father her a child, half-spirit and half human, with noble blood. And so, that was the tale of Tawny's birth. After such had happened, however, the Kitsune ceased her visits to the Baron, and his life went on.

The estate is now controlled by the Baron's first son, but this is not his tale. This is the tale of his daughter, the Kitsune's Daughter. Brought up by the Kitsune, Tawny was somewhat a strange girl, but as she was not fully a spirit, she was forced to live among people with her mother, who masked her identity with powerful illusions.

The attentions of a Kitsune, however, can be quite whimsical, even to their own children. Ever since Tawny turned 17, she has traveled and learned much. Thanks to her mother's agreements with the former Baron, she is permitted all the apples she desires from the estate, which she makes her way by selling when she must. Well aware of her own valid claim to a barony, she hasn't opted to pursue it, though she does know that her mother retains proof of her father's bargain.

When she caught wind of the Princess's pursuit of a lover, she knew there would be a massive gathering. She didn't entertain the notion that she might partake, but she set out for Venus regardless, eager to be at the center of the whirlwind of courtship that would take place. She was fascinated, eager to see it all pan out.

She didn't imagine that she might somehow become involved... even invested in the courtship.
