Eris Dismas was stalking through the streets her prey a few feet in front of her. She had been watching him for quite a few blocks now and ever since she saw him take out his bag of coins. The man was loaded. She smiled to herself and started running towards him pushing passerby aside as she rushed into him knocking him down to the ground. During the split second of their fall she grabbed onto his "wallet" quickly stowing it into her coat pocket. "Ah! Sorry mister." she quickly apologized moving off the man. "Oh sir. You dropped your wallet." she added quickly taking out an already prepared bag. In it, of course, were not the shiny jewels and gold coins the man had but was filled with pebbles. "G'day." A couple of blocks of more running led her back to her rundown shack and finally decided to untie the string to her newly acquired possession. A couple of gold coins fell out and a nugget of gold. So he wasn't as rich as she believed, well maybe there would be a vendor who isn't keeping watch over his stall. She pushed herself up and went back into the crowd her hand stuffed in her pocket. Already spying someone else walking along she walked past him her hand quietly and quickly snatched up his bourse.

wandering through the streets observing the life shown throughout with everyone coming and going Skye laughed. "Well today seems rather busy." skipping along she starts humming a tune to herself when she spots an interesting looking store and buys the most expensive thing there quickly stuffing it into her pocket.
Grinning as she looks around and is satisfied that nobody saw her stuff something that was more then twice the appropriate size for placing in any pocket she reaches inside and pulls out a solid gold bar to hand to the shopkeeper in trade for the object she had just bought and continues skipping along. 'I may be exiled until I find a wife.' she thought to herself. 'but at least my mummies let me keep my coat with its infinite pockets in it. They won't miss a little gold anyway.' humming to herself now she continues skipping merrily across the streets hoping that nobody from Australasia could recognize their princess when she wasn't wearing the crown. After all that was the last thing she wanted. A random high demon coming up to her could potentially blow all her cover. So just to be on the safe side she cuts through the night's doorstep known for its crime-rate she figured nobody could really be around here that would recognize her.
Spotting a beggar however she pulls out another gold bar and hands it to him 'hopefully that will change his luck' and before he had time to answer she was off again. 'maybe that wasn't a wise idea I mean there could be theives around here and whilst I can't get killed by anything but a holy item it would still hurt alot to be stabbed.'

She saw it. The glint from the bar of gold that girl just handed to that beggar. That girl... That girl was beyond rich. Eris was amazed, what would one have to do to get to the point where a bar of gold means nothing? She shook her head and turned towards her, determined to be the first one to rob her. Already around her, people were stirring. Long-haired rogues, old crippled beggars, even the two vendors next to her took an interest. She saw the butcher reach for his meat cleaver and started to clean it with a rag, a twisted grin on his face, which was mirrored by her own. Everyone here shared the same thought. Steal. If she was unwilling? Kill her.
She had to act now. So she ran towards her and without thinking tackled her into a side alley, looking left and right she ducked under a broken fence and motioned for her to do the same. Eris knew, well hoped actually, that the others would follow the code.(If someone had already taken a prey no other thief may take it away from him or her.) Well there are those who only steal from thieves. Eris Dismas groaned inwardly, she couldn't remember how many times she found her home ransacked and her possessions all gone. She crouched down behind the fence waiting for the girl to get through, hopefully she wouldn't look left and right. Then she could jump her and take her gold, buy a house in the nice part of the city, maybe even have a garden. She smiled to herself lost in her own fantasies waiting for the girl to pass through

stunned at first by being tackled into an alleyway she saw the girl duck under the fence motioning for her to follow. Grinning to herself she looked at how high up the fence was and grew her wings out looking around to see if anyone was watching. Luckily they weren't and she flies up to the top of the fence making her wings dissapear as she lands silently behind the girl that had tackled her.
Grinning again she looks at the girl who is evidently waiting for her to come through the fence and sneaks up placing her head just behind her. "So who are we waiting for?" she asks happily at the same time as tapping the girl on the shoulder. "And what do we plan on doing to them when they come through?"

She jumped back as she felt the hand tap on her shoulder. "Wha- What the hell?!" she yelled scooting back against the opposite wall. "How did you get here. There was a fence!"
Confused and more than a little freaked out over her sudden appearance she glanced sideways to see if her yell had attracted any attention. No, it didn't. Eris relaxed slightly, perhaps it was time to jump her. However she tensed up again when she heard a strangled scream from the street. She dragged the girl away again and led her further away from the fence down the alleyway. "They just killed him. God damn it." she hissed under her breath. Not that she felt bad about his death. No, these things happen but it means they'll be after her next. And if they attacked she won't stand a chance. No she'd be dead just like that beggar. "You shouldn't have given him a bar of gold." she yelled glaring back at her stopping abruptly as they rounded the corner. "Look I'm the only one that won't kill you. So hand it over." Eris asked and put her hands against the side of her neck, leaning against the wall, looking her straight in the eye, "Give me your gold." and then she pulled out her knife.

taken by surprise when the girl grabs hold of her neck she grins again. "Hmm is this some new game?" managing to drop through Eris's grip she flips her leg along the ground tripping her and grabbing out her own claymore which having sensed danger had given up its shy nature and came out buzzing. "Really its not very polite to jump people like that you know? and as for that bar of gold that I gave the beggar well quite simply to put it he can't die now that I have handed him it. Kinda like a blessing to stop the gold from being stolen."
resting on top of Eris now she looks her in the eyes holding her claymore just above the wrist that held the dagger so that if the girl moved it then she would lose that hand.
"Now tell me why you were so willing to rob from me. Are you a street-urchin that has no other way to make a profit? or are you a simple petty thief."

“Shit!” She yelled out feeling the back of her head connect with the cold stone pavement. She tried to move again, perhaps to stab the girl or to escape, but froze as she saw the girl draw out a claymore. The point of it hovering dangerously close to her wrist. She didn't even need to feel the tip just to know it was sharp, it was certain to cut off her hand if she moved it. She glared up at her prey now turned predator.
"Really its not very polite to jump people like that you know? and as for that bar of gold that I gave the beggar well quite simply to put it he can't die now that I have handed him it. Kinda like a blessing to stop the gold from being stolen."
”Well you try to live on the streets! I bet you don't even know what it feels like to be hungry.” She yelled back. Sure it was risky, the girl could end her life at any moment but heck she wasn't going to change her personality now.
"Now tell me why you were so willing to rob from me. Are you a street-urchin that has no other way to make a profit? or are you a simple petty thief."
“'Course I'm a street-urchin. Why else would I stay here? Because it's fun?” She continued to goad the girl. “I'm not just a petty thief, I'm pretty damn good thief.” She said fuming. There were only a few things she was proud of and no one not even the queen can insult her skills. “and as a street-urchin I have no other way to make money. So I need yours.” Eris finished. The logic of it sounded right in her mind.

fuming slightly at being told off like that she brushes her fury off when she hear's that the girl was indeed a street-urchin and gets off of her.
"Alright I can understand the situation better then you could imagine so I believe you. However I do feel bad for nearly cutting your hand off then so please let me buy you a meal. Your choice of food, place and quantity? sound fair?"
looking in her eyes again she grins. "As for stealing from me it would be rather difficult these pockets are quite magical in being that they open into a parallel existence so I can pretty much pull through whatever I want at different times. Provided that its not alive or had previously been living."

"Fine." she said still mad that her plan failed. "I always wanted to try rich people food." Eris said standing up rubbing the back of her head. She pursued her lips in a pouting manner. "What's your name miss?" she asked reluctantly thrusting her hand towards her. Another plan beginning to formulate itself in her mind. If she became her friend... That would mean she might get money after all. "My name's Eris Dismas, miss. Sorry for trying to rob ya. Are ya from out of town? Maybe I can show ye around." she said, the perfect picture of eagerness. She'd do anything to get that house with a garden.

taking her hand with her own she shakes it. "I'm Skye Slaine-Ribbors its a pleasure to meet you." grinning again she ponders and starts heading out a different way still holding the girls hand. "So whats your name dear?"
heading towards her favorite restaurant she starts singing her favorite song again and skipping "And you're right I am not from around here I am the princess of Australasia. Banished to this land until I find myself a wife. Which makes me a tad bit unhappy but ah well what are you going to do? I do need to be able to rule the Queendom with another Queen at my side otherwise the title of the two Queens would be meaningless."

"You're royalty." she said nodding as if accepting the fact then did a double-take. "YOU'RE ROYALTY?!" That actually made sense why she would have gold lying around to give. "This country doesn't have a prince..." she said trying to figure out why she was here, "and the king is already married. Are you here by invitation?" She assumed the girl was staying in the castle. Where else would a princess live? "How are the gardens in the palace?" she had heard they were gorgeous and had even met one of the many gardeners. Of course after chatting with him she stole his bag and all his life savings. "You're lucky to be able to live there. I'd give anything to stay there maybe for even just one night." she sighed following her and telling her things no one else knew about her. Maybe she was too trusting of this woman but it's not like it mattered. Not like they'll ever meet again.

"To tell the truth the reason why I am here is that I am not searching for a husband but a wife. I have a blood agreement with my mother to find a wife from here that loves me for what I am not what I can offer them. She cannot be royalty so she has to be from the lower class. Like a slave, a servant, a maid or a street-urchin and well there's a few other things as well but its definitely making it difficult to find someone. Especially as I have to be entirely honest with everyone who wishes to try a shot at becoming my wife and I have a few secrets that kinda push them away."
"As far as the gardens go however yes they are gorgeous but nowhere near that of my own palace. In my Queendom its nicknamed the garden palace because thats pretty much what it is. A massive Tree hollowed out over the years to make the palace in the middle of a wide range of flowers and other tree's, All of the ones known to human kind and a few not at least."
arriving at the restaurant she had been heading to she walks in and gets given many bows by the head waiter who obviously recognized her from a time beforehand when she had last visited. "A table for two Rafael. "Wii madam come right this way. Who is your Friend?" "A street-urchin who I am hoping to give a good meal and if she want's a warm place to stay the night." I answered briefly "If you want any more information about her talk to her yourself." "Ahh wii madam." turning to face her he bows again and whispers in her ear. "You have a good chance with this one, That is if you want a princess of demon's for your wife."

She tried to picture the tree that was being described, all those flowers, different kinds with their aroma mixing in the light summer breeze. It was a beautiful picture she had painted in her mind. She knew she had to see those gardens, they sounded a lot better than the one in this kingdom.
“I see. A wife... To tell the truth I'd rather find a wife then a husband.” She nodded understanding where the woman was coming from. Then finally she understood what the woman was saying. Wa-was she hitting on her? The hint was so sudden and so... so terribly obvious that she couldn't help but blush at it. Wait... Wasn't that a good thing? Yes, marrying a princess was a great thing but she never thought of marrying for money. No her schemes never involved her personal life... but if she did develop feelings for her. Besides, she was more likeable then anyone else she'd ever come across and... It could be possible.
She sighed sitting down at the table as the waiter told her one more thing about her. “You're a demon?” She gasped her eyes widening in shock. She'd never met one before, actually, preferring to believe they didn't exist. Heck she even wanted to deny her elven heritage. “Do-do you come from hell?” She asked feeling terribly stupid and regretted it as soon as the words left her mouth. In her head she was yelling at herself for that stupid question. Change the subject, switch to something more agreeable. “I mean I'd be glad to take you up on your offer for a warm bed tonight...”

laughing but not meaning it to offend she shakes her head. "Hell? heavens no I don't come from hell its not even a real place it was simply made up by my people as were most myths revolving around demon's to keep our lands safe. I mean our wings aren't even red. No indeed they are black." quickly opening out her wings to show Eris before hiding them again.
"As far as looking for a wife is going though it seems to be taking a long slow time." grinning again she tries to see how Eris would react given certain circumstances. "I don't suppose you'd be interested would you?"
stretching back again she laughs once more as the food is brought to their table and smiles. "And as far as the bed goes your welcome you can stay for as long as you wish its also got a nice hot shower and a bath there as well that you can use if you wish to."

She nodded solemnly watching her wings unfold. "So is heaven a myth as well?" she asked a bit relieved. She knew she'd probably never get to heaven after being a thief for so long. Still it was nice to know she wasn't going to hell either.
She nodded a bit here and there while listening to her talk about her search for a wife. She thought some more about what she had said before, what were those other requirements she had mentioned? She was in deep in thought when her last few words reached her ears.
"I don't suppose you'd be interested, would you?"
She asked her... She asked her what? Was she was messing with her? It wasn't funny... No... It wasn't funny at all. She didn't even realize she was blushing from ear to ear nor did she realize she had dropped her fork. She didn't even touch her meal as it lay there getting cold nor did her confused mind process the fact that the woman also offered her a place to stay. Finally she nodded her head slowly, an almost mechanical movement. "Yes... Yes I'd like to give it a shot." When she got up this morning she never could have imagined a princess would her as a candidate for marriage. "What are the other requirements you mentioned?"
