GENERAL APPEARANCE: Daring Jo has a very fit figure, that she usually decorates in loud and festive clothing. She is most often decorated in some form of jewelry or another and her clothes all have a custom tailored look to them. She has always had an affinity for decorating herself in the fine items that she plucks from the caravans of the wealthy and flaunts whatever she doesn't sell. Jo has a very cheerful mood and demeanor that has always shown through the most dire of circumstances.

PERSONALITY: Jo, in lighter conversation, could be described as quirky. She certainly is someone with the flare for the dramatic and does love to make a big entrance. But, behind all the flaunting and her verbose nature lies a sharp and cunning mind. She always has a plan and will carry it out meticulously...all the while speaking at great length whenever she has a "captive audience". Jo is a talker. And she always enjoys good conversation, even if it's during the middle of a stick-up. It is actually her preferred method to getting out of any jam...fighting is something she only does as a last resort. Jo is, at her heart, a daredevil. She loves the rush and excitement that she gets from her illicit activity.

BELOW THE SURFACE
SPECIAL SKILLS: Lockpicking, fighting with a cane, sewing and disguising herself.
WEAPONS: Jo has a wide array of hidden weapons she likes to keep on her person, within the folds of her fancy clothes. These are your standard fair of blades and knives that are always readily accessible. She also has a rather ostentatious cane that she can wield as a weapon, if need be.
MAGICAL ABILITIES: no magical abilities
FAMILY: Unknown
BACKGROUND: Very little is actually known about the young woman known as Daring Jo Lockwood. Some people say that she is from a family of disgraced nobles. Others insist that she had grown up around some of the worst criminals to ever walk the land. What is of little debate is that she has made quite the career out of highway robbery. Jo has both been able to do all this and still elude arrest at the hands of any authority.
Josette typically lays out a rather elaborate plan for when she holds up travelers. Usually, she lures the guards out and leads them into some simple, yet effective traps, or she takes them out herself, if possible. Then, with the passengers properly restrained, she takes what she can carry and is off....with a flirtatious comment, where appropriate. (or inappropriate, as the case may be)
Her primary area of activity is usually on the outskirts of Terre de Conte. After all, getting close to the City of Venus would greatly increase the odds of her capture. But that's not to say she doesn't visit the city from time to time (in cognito, of course). Jo has a pretty impressive track record, so far. And out of all her robberies, not one person has been killed.
With the word circiling about that many elligible young women from all over the land will be arriving to see the Princess Anactoria, Jo is positively giddy with joy at the possibilities. It will be two of her favorite things that will be traveling the lands...valuable items and pretty ladies.
