Calla gave no resistance to the kiss; she certainly had given no resistance to Toph's intertwining their legs. If anything her tired mind enjoyed discovering that for all her gruff exterior at times, she was soft to the touch.
Especially her lips.
She drew Toph to her gently as she wrapped an arm over her shoulders. The Druid hoped that her disappointment when Toph broke the kiss was well hidden. Or, if not hidden, at least not misunderstood.
"Good night, Chipmunk," she said as she wrapped her other arm around Toph's waist.
Though Greystreak did not say anything (thankfully), Calla did feel his sense of good will to the possible pairing. Calla did not bother to worry about whether or not they would or could make it as a couple. She just knew that Toph was next to her and everything was starting to feel right with the world.
Tomorrow could come, and she would worry about it then. For now, they both needed sleep. Her last conscious thought was just how much easier it came with the pair just like they were. After that, nothing else seemed to matter.
