A chill wind swept down the path through statues and across the grass and sent the brown hair of woman standing before the final statue in every direction it could. Why was she here? The question itself passed through her mind many times as she gazed at the statue. She was here to guard her ladyship the princess, but the question she should probably be asking now was more likely why was she STILL here. She had received news on her way out of the castle in a ‘friendly manner’ that she was to be reinstated. Of what she knew of the king his mind did not change so easily. Perhaps the queen had had some say in this.
No the more likely scenario was that the princess had intervened. She COULD sway her father in some things it seemed without causing so much trouble for those around her. Though Era was nnot sure how many times that had been the case. A light sigh escaped her lips stared up. With a breif yet low bow to the statue she turned and started the treck back to the castle and the princess. Hopefully the next time the girl decided to merely up and dissapear she would tell Terra… though the likely hood of that was very low.
The blasted uniform she had grown accustomed to not wearing was a pitiable part of her job. She did so hate the thing. There was hardly any real protection provided by the ghastly thing. All white and black cloth she felt she was more suited to a stroll through a garden than any real fight. However hard her teachers may have tried when she was younger all her speed, agility, and skill couldn’t stop every blade that came her direction, and when one finally made it through Era feared it would be her downfall… as it had almost been on her journey looking for the princess.
