A tall woman wearing a long blue dress was walking to a certain room in the north tower. She had been told to bring the weapon to this spoiled costumer, but she had been paid extra for doing it so she would do as he wished. Reaching the place she went inside carefully placing the sword he had ordered on the floor. Not really sure if she should leave or not, Venetia stood still for a moment, looking around to see if he came to get it.
After waiting for quite a while she sighed, leaving the sword alone like this could be the perfect excuse for this man to say that it was stolen and that it was Venetia’s fault because she left it alone. Leaning against the wall she crossed her arms over her chest, letting her eyes scan the room. It was surely a pretty room with furniture she could just dream of buying. The room wasn’t one of those small places where you would sleep, but more like a bigger hall with a pretty diamond covered hanging light in the middle of the ceiling.
Letting her eyes rest on the lamp she admired how beautiful it was when the sunlight hit it, sending small rays of light out in the room as the diamonds reflected the sunlight. Not taking her eyes away from the beautiful sight in front of her she started imagining how she could create something just as beautiful with her own ice powers.
Hearing steps not far away she snapped out of her daze and turned to the man that came into the room. His back was overly straight and he walked proudly towards her with his head high. Kneeling down she grabbed the sword and held it out to him. He quickly snatched it out of her hand and threw a bag of money to her before walking off, without a word and without waiting for her to count the money. Still she believed him, taking a quick look at what was inside the bag, she could tell it was the right amount of gold and platinum pieces.
He left the room almost as soon as he’d gotten inside, leaving Venetia alone again. The blue dress she was wearing and all the accessories made Venetia almost look like a princess where she stood. She was wearing her nicest jewelleries that she had made herself and a dress she only used in special occasions. The high heels she had on her feet, made her extremely tall close to 6’3 feet high and she looked almost more lanky than usual. Having been several feet taller than the noble man she’d just given the sword to, she felt huge and told herself to never use such shoes ever again. Sighing she shook her head, wondering why she’d even bothered herself by dressing up so nicely, it’s not like she wanted to impress anyone. Nobles, especially royalties were all the same. Dressing like this might make them show some respect, but as soon as she returned to her normal clothes and life they would look down on her yet again.
Turning she started towards the door to make her leave.
