Sora almost jumped as the arm went around her waist. But didn't smiling a little she nodded to Zdena "Nice move," she moved to keep the girl's little ball from falling "But you don't have to do that " using her her free hand to hold the little ball with Zdena.

Effie softly glowed as Sora's hand came in to provide additional support. Zdena watched curiously, before looking back up at Sora. "Thank you, but I have Effie well enough in hand." she said, "I have been carrying it around for some time now. At times, it does not feel like I am carrying anything at all."
It was, in many ways a peculiar relationship that Zdena shared with her invention. One that she had rarely discussed, even to this limited extent.
"Nonetheless, I do appreciate your efforts at assistance." Zdena did her best to actually sound genuine. From experience, her tone often left the impression that she was rude. Clarifications were often important to make for the odd inventor. She made a minor adjustment in her hold on Effie and soon felt the unfamiliar contact of Sora's hand. It was a foreign sensation, that little bit of contact. She could count on one hand the number of people who had gotten this close to the orb.
"I am curious, though." She said, as they continued to wait, "What are your impressions of Effie. Most people are a bit...put off by it's presence."

Sora looked at their hands and the orb before returning her eyes to Zdena's "Oh Effie is the orb right, well to me it seems that the orb...er Effie is just as much a part of you as anything else would be. I guess you wouldn't be you with out it" she pulled Zdena a little closer to her and looked at the orb once more.
"Ahem ....excuse me ladies, the seere will see you know"

"An astute observation." she remarked as the taller girl pulled her closer. The receptionist beckoned them forward and the two would have to rise out of their seat in order to proceed to this Madame Fontaine. Zdena was looking forward to seeing how this new tactic would play out. Would there be more details? Would a clear insight into the fortune teller methodology be on display?
The answers were about to be provided. The supposed "couple" followed the receptionist, appear to be quite amorous, despite the complete absense of emotion that Zdena seemed to always be wearing.
"Seats have been prepared." the receptionist said as they traveled down a small corridor, "They will be...closer than we usually set them up."
The employee managed to hold back a gigge, just barely, as they neared a doorway.

Sora flushed and moved to there seats hold Zdena's out for her and Effie. Once Zdena was seated she took her own seat and reached out for Zdena's hand.

The fortune teller was already seated at the table. Zdena took her own seat next to Sora and after a moment, realized she was looking for her hand. Taking ahold of the hand, she looked across the table at the woman who was presumably Madame Fontaine.
"And what can I do for you?" she inquired.
"We would like our fortune's told." Zdena said. The teller smiled and looked from the inventor to Sora.
"Anything in specific that the two of you would like to know?"

Sora looked to Zdena and then back to the fortune teller, she wasn't going to talk this time she would let Zdena be the one talking. She just sat there and held the other girls hand softly in her own .

Zdena, despite her outward appearance to the contrary, was quite eager to lead the conversation. As Sora held her hand she looked straight ahead and addressed the question.
"The future, what it holds for us and what we should be wary of. Good omens and the like." she said.
A light chuckle came from the teller, "And here, I took you for the quiet one." she said, "Very well. Give me your hand."
Leaving the orb on her lap, Zdena reached across the table for the Madame to take ahold. As she felt the fortune teller go over the lines in her hands she couldn't help but think on how similar it felt to Sora touching her extremity. That left the question of what made palm readers any different at all.
These thoughts had barely crossed her mind when a sudden gasp interrupted her musings. The seer abruptly let go and leaned back.
"What you've done...what your family has done..." she whispered to herself, color leaving her face, "You don't need my warnings. You already know the dangers of your path."
"Hm."
That was the extent of Zdena's response. She looked down for a moment and tapped her chin with her now free hand.
"Curios. It seems you have found something." she said, "You will have to tell me more of your method."
Madame Fontaine could only blink in surprise.

Sora wondered who's family the woman was talking about her's or Zdena's in her confusion she gripped Zdena's hand a bit tighter and her stance went tight as she began to think as much as her mind would allow.

A prolonged silence fell upon the room. It was an awkward moment for all. But, Zdena sat, waiting for a reply. "If you are able tell so much about me, than surely you can provide some explination?"
"You don't care about what I've just told you?" the fortune teller said.
"The actual message is unimportant. The method by which you have determined that message is. It is all I am truely curious about. We have met many fortune tellers today and most merely provide vague descriptions of what could be future events. Some, through what may be elaborate guess work, have told my associate things that could loosely be tied to her past. And one was simply enamoured by her pleasant asthetics. The single common thread has been that they have told us what they believe we wanted to hear. You, on the other hand, have told us something that most would consider an unpleasant. Do you have a specific method of divination that can show you these things?"
Again the fortune teller blinked. She shook her head and let out a sigh. "In truth, I don't know how I can read into the pasts of people's lives. It is something I have always been able to do. Whenever I touch someone, I see their past. In some cases I can look into the future. These are only brief visions." she explained.
"Ah...sensory. Interesting." Zdena nodded her head and stood to her feet. With Sora's tight grip, she had to place Effie on the table while she fished the appropriate amount money plus gratuity, "You have been most enlightening, Madame. I appreciate your honesty."
"You should listen to my warning." Fontaine said, "You may be leading yourself to a very dangerous place. It could lead to harm to yourself and everyone around you."
"If that is where my research takes me, than that is where I will go." Zdena replied calmly, "Dangerous as it is, the benifits are greater. All I must do is simply succeed."
She turned to Sora and picked Effie back up, "I think we shall leave. The experiment is over for today."

Sora nodded and finally let go of Zdena's hand so she could hold onto Effie with both hands. Sora walked over and opened the door. Walking outside with Zdena and effie she took a deep breath of air and let it out. "Well today has been very eventful."

The moon greeted the two as they stepped out on to the street. "Indeed it was." she said, "And quite productive. Your help is appreciated. I think it is time to return to the castle, now."

Sora nodded a let out a Yawn before blushing and clearing her throat a little "uh yeah after you then Zdena" she smiled and bowed politely to the shorter girl.

Zdena gave a nod of her head, before taking the lead and proceeding down the street. She opened a smaller version of the map she had been reviewing earlier. It would be a bit of a long walk, but, nothing she hadn't done before. Zdena was eager to get back to the castle and review her data.
(OOC: I think that about wraps the thread up! It's been fun!)

Sora just smiled and followed after the girl once she was sure she was at her room she did something without thinking she kissed Zdena's lips soft and said "Goodnight and sweet dreams" she blushed as soon as she realized what she had done and quickly left to find her own room.
(Occ yes it was fun would you like to do another thread together)
