The sun was setting outside, and Maisha had only just made it to the the castle. Her bags had arrived a head of her, so she was free to move about the castle. In the main hall she walked around inspecting the marvelous decor that it had to offer. There was one thing that caught her eye, on some of the furniture sat some dust. This was not something she could let go.
“Lazy maids!” came with a snarl. She took a pink piece of cloth from her chest. The dust was her enemy, and she would not let it live any longer. Quickly she started to move her hands about the dusty chair that was to be her first victim. It took her longer than most people would have spent on the entire side of the hall, but she was pleased with her job.
She returned to her feet, and cracked her neck and fingers. “One down....” she said, a smile replacing her once snarl, then continued. “Only what looks to be thirty more to go.” she started to hum a soft melody.
Maisha was happiest with cleaning, as was obvious by her current demeanor. She seemingly skipped over to a couch. which was made out of the same material as the chair she had previously cleaned. Time flew by as she cleaned this one. She was on all fours, her left hand moving up and down the last leg of the couch that she needed to clean. By now she was humming loud enough for people around her to hear.

Work was important, no matter where she was. And if she was currently standing in the middle of the main hall, than so be it. Zdena was precisely right in that location and had a book out. Not a real book, of course. Zdena would never use one of those. The illusion contained a wide variety of notes and drawings. Currently, she was making several adjustments to the popular line of Brass Men that RRI had begun production on so long ago. A few ideas had occured to her while she was inspecting one of the clocks that decorated the hallway.
It was while she was making these amendments that a sound managed to make it's way towards her ears. It was not an unpleasant sound, but it had been enough to distract her. With a poof the book had vanished, Zdena took a look down the hall and spotted a young woman on her hands and knees, putting in a tremendous amount of work on cleaning a couch. It was in a manner that could either be described as proffessional pride or obsessive compulsive. At the moment, she couldn't quite determine which it was.
So, Zdena elected to continue her observation. Her notes were safely stored within Effie and all that was left to do was update a few schematics. Right she was curious as to the reason behind such fervant devotion to such a menial task.

Calmly, Maisha rose up after finishing the couch, her second victim. Sadly she felt unable to clean any further, since the once sheen pink cloth was now nothing more than a rag. With a pout on her face she turned on her heels only to see someone else. “Oh...hello there.. Is there um a reason you are just standing there?” she looked at the female with the utmost curiosity. “If you are watching me clean perhaps you could tell me what you think? I did try my hardest!”
She side stepped away from the couch, and stood there with hands resting at her front in a very maid like manner as she awaited her approval. She personally was proud of her work, and with how the couch had looked before she just knew it would pass inspection.
Maisha had a glowing look about her. Cleaning was something she loved, but more so she loved enjoying the finished product of her labors. That certain shine wood held after a good cleaning, that sparkle a window would obtain after the sixth washing, and the smell of everything when it was done was pure ecstacy to this girl. Obsessed did not begin to describe this women’s view on cleaning.

Sounds continued to be produced by the girl. Sounds that formed coherent words. And thus, she was engaged in social interaction once more.
"What I think? Of you're work?" she tilted her head to the side and walked towards the couch. She hadn't quite noticed it before. Of course the design of a couch just didn't capture her attention like something along the lines of a clock could. Nonetheless, the piece of furniture seemed to be shining now.
"Indeed, it is quite clean." she stated. As usual, her voice was the same even tone it usually was. "Your effort is apparent. I was curious, so I observed. Do you intend to repeat this procedure for the rest of the furniture?"

Despite a lack of magical prowess, Maisha seemed to glow after the compliments had been passed to her about her cleaning. She instantly curtsied to the female then said. “Thank you very much.”
“OH! Yes I do plan on cleaning every piece of furniture. That nasty dust does not know whats coming to it! I just need to find some more cleaning supplies...perhaps a duster. Maybe an apron to keep myself clean.” she rambled on. She was already starting to feel dirty, a bath would be called for once her cleaning was through with.
The only hitch in her plan was the fact she had no clue where this place kept it’s cleaning supplies. The place was so huge, she knew it would take way too long for her to find them. She would need to find a maid and asked, though with the lack of effort in cleaning a maid might not even be on staff right now.

"That is a lofty goal." she remarked, "Though it appears to be...an impractical goal."
The young woman was almost glowing as brightly as Effie. Zdena realized that it was a pointless endeaver to try and talk her out of it. That didn't stop her from pointing it out. The inventor was intruiged by this odd devotion, however. Therefor further observation would be required.
"How many of the staff do you intend on enlisting for help? I cannot see how you can accompolish this within a reasonable amount of time." Zdena pressed for further information.
