Rin was bored. Christams was coming and she still had no new customers that day. Why? she had asked that maybe times since that morning after opening... wait... had she put out the open sign? A quick glance told her she had. Well darn! Maybe she shoudl just close for the day and work on a new prank for her neighbor the Clothign shop... though the stink bomb she planted a few months ago had forced the man to pay an enormous amount of money to have it removed from his merchandise.
Hmm... she made a note not to try that one again and added it to the other Eighteen notes that said the same thing in her money safe behind the counter. BORED!!!! She was so bored… she leaned back in the chair and spun around a few times. Where was Lumi? She needed someone to play with. And She hadn’t seen the girl in a long while. Her gaze fell about the shop as it had so many times that morning that she couldn’t count. The rows of and rows of books, trinkets, and other misc magical items that she had cataloged information on. After all it wasn’t like she could remember what each of the things did.
The doors in the back fell under her gaze next and the one on the right she contemplated closing and going up to go to bed, but she may get a big spender any time… there were enough nobles in the city. Her shop was quite well known… though not all reasons were good… ok most weren’t but any rumor placed her shop in people minds. And that was a good lure. The other door lead to the “restricted” zone… many nice nice things down there…. Many Many. Pity she had to keep them sealed off lest some idiot stumble into them on accident.

Things had been productive. Sure there had been one incident involving the princess' over-zealous cousin. But that had led to a rather pleasant conversation with Anactoria, herself. And while Zdena still got the impression that her odds of success were essentially zero, the possiblilty for greater trade relations was still something to celebrate.
And so, she ventured into the city to learn more about fortune telling. That mission, itself, being a resounding success. She had even met a rather useful research assistant. All in all, her trip to Terre de Conte had been much more productive than she had originally anticipated.
Wanting to build upon her success, Zdena felt it was time to follow up on one of her first meetings. That rather strange fox girl, who had pentiant for touching things that weren't hers. Still, she would be a valuable asset, with the types of magical items she had for sale.
Zdena and her ever-present companion, Effie, traveled once more through Venus' streets. This time, the large luggage walker accompanied the inventor, as well. After all, if she was going to be making some purchases, it would be very wise to bring something for transportation.
People were...perturbed by the machine's presence. It did, however, draw attention away from the small glowing orb that was Effie. Finally, she found the address that was on the business card Rin had left her.
The shop, itself was not looking particularly busy. Bit this only meant there would be more room for the walker. Zdena reached the handle and gave it a try. It opened with no trouble and granted her access.
"Miss Kulin?" she looked around the store, "I am interested in making a purchase."

Rin’s head perked up as she heard someone step up onto the porch outside. YES!!!!! A customer finally!!!!! It had been so long!(not really). Now she just had to force whoever it was to purchase something and she should be fine… use of force was granted in extreme situations like this… and it might be a bit fun should it come to that. However, the person who walked through the door was… unexpected. It was the weird girl with the hat she couldn’t touch and the staff thing she couldn’t buy.
How did she know where to find this shop… maybe she was a stalker and Rin’s forwardness had actually proven to somehow attract the girl. Now she wasn’t one to turn away a stalker from their passion… if they were female. Actually she encouraged it… on some level anyways. She didn’t want to wake up and find them staring at her and breathing hard… that would be scary. Wait what got her off on this track?
Her glance fell on the girl again and she wondered what the girl was doing there… ohh right she had given her a card… thing. Wait when was that? Ohh well it didn’t really matter. “Welcome to my shop!” Rin said hopping the counter with ease and running over to greet the woman… sprinting running same same. She held out her hand as courtesy dictated… or was she supposed or bow?
**YAY!!!! *waves to Zdena***

The strange fox-girl was still strange. Not that Zdena expected her to suddenly become rational. That seemed to be out of the question. Still, she was not unbearable, so Zdena would not mind the interaction.
"Yes. Hello." she said as she politely shook the shop-owners hand.
"You had mentioned that you sold magical items. I would be interested in aquiring some. And in a wide variety. If I am to accurately test them, I must be thorough." she explained. It was important to get to business straight away. Especially with Rin. The girl seemed to be easily distracted. And while she was in no particular hurry, Zdena still wanted to get her walker loaded and ready to go before nightfall.

Well now that the proper way of doing things was finished she could put finesse onto whatever she willed… not that the girl would notice a stray glance at this or that. She DID wish the girl wasn’t always in those dresses though. She couldn’t get a good image of the girls figure… unless eh felt her up all over. That would be fun, but may lose her business. It was one thing when she was trapped in the ballroom place with the girl and another when she was at her store selling things… ok so they were BASICALLY the same, but that was besides the point.
“Yes we sell magical items of all kinds here from the smallest of accessories all the way of to full clothing sets.” A few in particular she wouldn’t mind seeing the girl in should she be able to. Not all magicians were closet hermits and some had rather odd taste. Not that she minded their old toss outs were great for re-sell… after a heavy washing or three. “Where would you like to begin?” She asked chipperly.

It seemed that she would need to narrow her search. Enchanted items included such a wide variety of objects. Clothing included. That was a particularly interesting notion she would have to investigate. But, she would get to that in due time.
"Let's start with something simple. Anything elemental? Fire perhaps?" she asked. She could certainly see the practical applications for such devices. Once she could find a few of those, she could move on to less practical enchatments.
Regardless of her personal feelings, she knew that when it came to magic anything she could learn would be useful. Not to mention learning about the process that goes into such fields would be of considerable importance.

Simple she says. Though it may be a simple thing to say Fire was one of the most popular among magical elements for all of the purposes it served. Well she would merely have to shrink the array of their soon to be viewing selection. “Hmmm” Rin said scooting closer to the girl just a bit. “Would you be interested in looking at the Jewelery? Or the larger pieces like wands, potions, Gloves…” She trailed off as she tried to remember a few more. There were too many… Ahh there was also, “or something more along the lines of a pet that breathes fire?” She had a few though nothing truly sizeable like a dragon.
Well she had a dragons egg, but she doubted the large hunk of emerald was actually a dragons egg as she had been told. Or rather as the person interested in buy it had been as she was walking by. The prospect of owning one had been too much to bear and she had taken it... what? She had left money 200 gold was probably plenty for such an artifact. Well…by her standards anyways. Of course her retail was in the lower thousands…

"Hm. Jewelery sounds like a good start. Wands too." she said, with a nod, "Not pets, though. I am only interested in objects that have been enchanted."
Pets were just not a reliable source material. And after taking them apart, Zdena doubted their functional use upon reassembling the pieces. No, living things were just too troublesome. Zdena paid no mind to Rin as she inched her way closer. The shopkeeper did have an unusual habit of invading other people's personal space. Which made it all quite normal, in actuality.
"Let's see what you have available, then." she said. Zdena was fairly certain this shop would be more than adequate to supply her with the things she needed. It's owners eccentricities aside. She would just need to be certain that Rin doesn't try to take her hat again.

So it was Jewelry and wands then… well that shouldn’t be too hard… maybe. It certainly lowered the options down. “Ok then…” Rin said her hand reaching up and attaching itself to her chin in some form of thinker pose. “Are you looking for small Fire, Brush fire, or house fire sized magical flame?” Rin asked never taking her eyes from the girl ... woman… the Human beside her. She smelled Human anyways.
Of course not taking her eyes off didn’t mean they didn’t… “stray” from her customers eyes. Every few moments to another part of her body. Once again she was finding it hard to get a correct grasp on the others actual form. She seemed Lithe enough, but through the folds of clothes she couldn’t tell. And asking her customer to strip though appealing would not be good for business. Or not in this case anyways. The girl hadn’t asked for any magical clothes so the “accidental” Chance to see her naked wasn’t going to happen.

"Hm. A good question. While I should probably start with something small, it might be prudent to work with something on a larger scale. I will need accurate assessment of all possibilities." Zdena mused aloud. She turned to Rin, "Very well. House fire it is."
She would need to build a functional prototype. And it would have to be something big. A proof of concept that would be worthy of Rom Royal Industrial. The shop keeper continued to stare, although if Zdena even noticed she showed no signs of caring one way or another.
"You have also mentioned magic clothing. What purposes do these items typically fund use for? Are there any with some practical application?"

Rin liked this girl more and more. She liked people who liked big fires and even if Zdena hadn’t actually said it that way Rin could easily twist it in her head to make it seem like she had. Her eyes flicked up to the hat… Rin REALLY liked that hat, and should she have the ability maybe she could get it in a trade… or the girl in only that. Wait no concentrate… but not on the images drifting through her head… though she had to fill in parts since she didn’t know what the girl actually looked like under her clothes… in Rins mind she looked very good though.
Her heart should it have had the ability would have soared from her chest and fluttered around on some wings it magically sprouted and then nestled back in her chest… after a while of flying. She cleared her throat after being obviously taken aback and exhilarated at even the opportunity to fill in that blank spot in her mind.
While she REALLY didn’t want to merely state that she bought the majority of them from old magicians and places like “The House of Earthly delights” she did have to say what most were used for. “Hmm the applications range greatly though most affect the senses of our eyes. Much like seeming more attractive or… arousing the desires of the one looking. Some can do things such as invisibility… I think I have a pair of glasses that helps you remember things… though I really don’t know how that works.”
“Much as I’ve said it varies greatly best to actually let you ask about each individual item of clothing or outfit rather than merely start listing.” The lure was cast maybe she could get at least a few nibbles to keep her imagination… or hopes going.

There she was with that strange look again. The shopkeep was a perplexing individual and how she managed to stay in business when she was so easily distracted remained beyond Zdena's power of rational thought. But, she seemed adequately stocked to suit the needs of her various experiments. Perhaps it would even require more than one trip.
"Invisibility. Fascinating. Though, I imagine it's uses would be quite dubious. The glasses are another interesting item. I have no such use for it, but it's commercial application would go rather far." she nodded her head, "We shall have to get started then. I would like to see these items and their capabilites. Then I shall make my purchases accordingly."
Though why Rin would suggest articles of clothing that heightened attractivness and arousal was beyond her, yet again. Although...
Zdena had to pause for a moment. From a business perspective, she supposed that such items would have quite a lot of value. After all the fortune tellers in New River seemed to be doing quite well in giving relationship advise. Perhaps it was worth an extra look...
"Yes. Those items enhancing attractivness, as well."

Rin nodded at the girls comments. A very business like person… but she wasn’t interested in how business oriented the girl was. She wanted to know… other things, and the opportunity had shown itself. Of course she didn’t let her elation show on her face… or rather she THOUGHT she hid it well. And the girl may have been too deep in thought to recognize that… as it seemed she usually was.
All of Rin’s advances were shut out… or well her flirtatious spirit was anyways. It wasn’t her fault the person who had been keeping it in check had disappeared on her. Now it was roaming and had set it’s sites on the girl in her shop now. Not that the person who had kept it in check had done a great job… it was hard to tie Rin down.. or her eyes and hands… and feet anyways… and tails… body in general.
“Where would you like to start then?” Rin asked… if she guessed right the girl would want to start with the more ‘mundane’ items… in her opinion anyways. Since the later had been an afterthought or seemed to be they would undoubtedly be last… and she still had to talk the girl into TRYING them on in the first place. Hmm maybe she would get to measure her to make sure they fit. She could say she always used her hands to do that… and in most cases that was true… if she found the person attractive… by her standards anyway.

Zdena tilted her head. There was another peculiar expression that fox-girl's face. She was such an odd creature. As most of magical origin tended to be, it would seem. Of course, she herself, had elven blood mixed in. But, Zdena was quite normal.
Well...mostly normal. And only in a purely subjective sense. She tapped a finger to her chin and did not respond immediately to the question being posed to her. Soon realizing that something was being asked of her, the inventor's attention snapped back to Rin.
"Oh yes. The rings and such will be good to start with." she requested, "It is very handy to have something that is easily portable. Where shall I wait?"

Rin’s spirit was taken down a peg. Of course the girl would want to, but she had been hoping even though her mind was saying otherwise. It was one of her strong points, she thought. So she half heartedly told the girl, “Please wait at the front counter I will be there shortly with a selection for you.” She motioned toward the front then moved in a different direction. She needed a ring case and the fire rings were over near the water rings, but on a different shelf from the rings of lightning… those were dangerous, didn’t people realize you could get shocked with those? Stupid customers she had had come in.
It didn’t take her long to gather them together and into a case which was nearby then bring them to the front. She trusted the girl not to “make off” with any of her other things while she wasn’t looking, but that didn’t mean they weren’t magically enchanted to let her know should someone pocket something. When she was nearing the front counter her mood had already brightened a bit. The sooner they were done with the boring parts the sooner she could get to undressing the girl… or wait no she was going to let the girl undress herself and accidentally walk in. Yeah that was supposed to be the story. Hehe she had almost forgotten.
