Two furry tails flicked about her face...not exactly comfortable. If it went on any longer, she felt like she was about to sneeze. Luckily, she managed to control herself. Something Rin was decidedly unskilled at. She looked up at the merchant and replied, "Greetings have already been exchanged." she reminded her, "How did we wind up in the wrong section?"

Rin finally stood the rest of the way up... even if lying back down would have been nicer~. and stepped off to the side to figure out exactly where they were. "Hmm..." Rin began as she gazed up and down the over sized aisle. the place was... enormouse to say the least. and the sehlves were about a story tall each with thier own ladder for reaching the top. the previous owner had had a lot of time on her hands... or perhaps it was magical related. Alas it didn't matter.
"The door drops out somewhere in the cave, but has no set position since there is no actual door down here. Could have been better we coudl have fallen in teh pond... I mean worse." Rin said and reached a hand out to help the woman up... even though she was already getting up herself.

Could there be any possible way to generate some predictable results in magic? It all just seemed so inefficient. Not that there was much to be done. But still...it was a bit inconvenient.
"Yes, that would be far worse." she nodded, "I would hate for these items to be soaking wet before actually purchasing them. So. Where do we go, from here, then?"

"Umm..." Rina said looking right then left again. her hand came up and tapped at her chin as her elbow rested in the other palm. "That way!" Rin said cheerily pointing left. Or rather she BELEIVED it was that way. let no one say the place they were in was small, and it felt like a maze most times she came down here. luckily she could just wander around foe a while with the customer never knowing she may be lost.
If she was really lucky the woamn would be scared to be in the rather dark cave and cling to her then she could... no better stop the track her mind was headed, and if her assumption of the woman was right on... as she beleived it was... she most probably wasn't scared of the dark. Nor likely to show the fear even if she had it.

Rin's assessment was entirely accurate. The only concern Zdena had was the shopkeeper's sense of direction. The darkness itself was only a minor inconvenience. Despite the conviction, she really did have to wonder just how Rin managed to locate anything down here.
But, since she had even less of an idea about the cavern's layout, she took Rin's lead and followed.
"Did this place not come with a map?" she inquired.

Rin glanced up an over to her right. “See the brighter area over there. That’s where we are headed. Theres a large... open space over there.” She ignored the question about the map. Or rather after thinking on it for a moment she couldn’t remember if she had been given one… which brought about more questions as to why not. Perhaps she was supposed to die down here… not that would be horrible. I mean think of all the pretty girls she wouldn’t get to play with. All the customers she wouldn’t get to… Her glance drifted over to her current customer… dressed a bit lighter than when she came in. all be it she still had that big hat on… just made Rin like it more though.
Wait… what if the girl was actually doing all this on purpose. What if she just pretended not to be interested in Rin and when they were alone she would push her up against a wall and… Rin’s face turned red. Gladly it was too dark to tell as her mind wandered even deeper into its fantasies.

The things that were going on in Zdena's head were quite different than what Rin was imagining. That, of course, being a monumental understatement. Numbers bounced around, calculations were made and thought experiments were being carried out. There was quite a lot on her mind...and none of it even came close to involving pushing Rin up against a wall.
And so the journey over to the "open space" involved very little of note. At least on her part. "You should consider automated servants." she finally said, "It could greatly improve your service and cut down on such travel times. You could double your profits in six months time. A pneumati-tube system could add further benifit. At least as far as smaller items are concerned. How far away, exactly, is this particular cave from your shop?"

OOC: aren’t the things in Rin’s head usually different from reality? O.o, poor Rin… when will she get through to Zdena. I fear for her success… tiss dismally low odds.
Rin was drug back into the dark dank reality from her nice steamy fantasy about the customer. Of course reality had a horrific bite to it as the girl stated some gibberish about cutting travel times and improving service. The profits things were great, but her clientele were usually quite high end. They preffered the personal touch… some a bit differently than others.
“Let’s see… it’s about a day’s ride by horse to the sea from here… with a fast horse. So, five days if the horse went non-stop.” Rin said as if it were totally normal to have a storage facility so far from her actual shop. Of course with the key things were easier… and sometimes like earlier more fun. Nearly tripping on something Rin stopped and bent over her tails lashing in the direction of the girl with her. It was oddly shaped. Had she dropped something down here last time?
OOC: fear not next post will get us to the "open space"

"Hm, that certainly could...complicate things." she said. While not insurmountable, the distance did pose a few logistical concerns. As they traveled in the dark, she revised her calculations. It was almost impractical. There had to be more efficient alternatives to her original plan. Although the addition of automated servants could still dramatically improve efficiency at the shop's main site. If she manufactured the servants, she could even barter a good deal for additional supplies. That would exceedingly acceptable.

The object was oddly shaped. Should she pick it up? Or should she leave it for later? her hand slowly moved out to touch the thing and... it shocked her! Rin yelped and leapt back her eyes wide with surprise. "Just uhh... go around." She said trying to sound like the object was supposed to there. If it peaked her guests interest too much then she was sure to be stuck in the darker areas longer. How could she see the full splendor of her customer if they were in all this darkness?
it wasn't like she could just clap some magical lamps on. So she edged around near the shelf a few feet away from the thing on the ground. "Jest about two more minutes and we're there." Rin said with a smile though... she couldn't really tell if the girl saw it or not.

Most objects of magical power could hold Zdena's interests. This one was no different. As soon as it shocked her guide, Zdena walked over and tried to get a better view of it. It warranted further study if there was time...and Zdena was never in much if a hurry.
"What is it?" she inquired, "A security device? Non-lethal, it would seem. It could be a most intriguing method of deterring thieves."

NOOO!!!! it was horrible! Her delay to seeign the woman in the clothes not to wear in a wintery climate had been extended. She struggled in her mind if she should just say it was lethal to anyone but her I mean the girl DID seem to be beleiveing anything she said... which presented certain possibilities. Of course she did have that will power to decide what she wanted to do though... much like the clothes. Rin wanted to see her in a different one... not that she was complainign about what the girl was wearing. Of course this all pertained to WHEN she could see her.
However, never one to miss an oportunity Rin didn't let her current situation get to her and walked back over by the girl. Her hand landed on the others back as she bent forward beside her. YES! step one! physical contact accomplished. Her plan was overtly elaborate, but it could work... maybe. "It's a shokey... mine like thing. It isn't easily noticed... in most cases. Of course the darkness and what not don't seem to be hiding it well. So... not generally made for dark damp places like caves." The visibility... could be due to the small sparks of electricity that sparked off of it, but that was only a possibility. Some people were just blind to all that was around them. Like Rin when she was watching a girl like her customer walk in front of her. Totally blind to her surroundings.

A shokey mine. Unseen in the dark, Zdena's face remained unchanged. Though she hardly held confidence in what Rin was claiming. Perhaps there was some truth to it, but there was an on obvious lack of knowledge. With the shop keeper hovering about her, it seemed about time to move on.
"You'll have to bring me one of these. I should study it better lit conditions." she said, standing back up, "Let's continue."

Rin was already a bit down the pathway. It was best to get away from a thing in her storage area that she didn't know about. Or it seemed the most logical thing to do anyways. Her poor customer! may she live a happy and fruitful last few moments. Thoughts passed through her mind of all the fun times they had. The time with the snowball fight, the time at the beach, and the time when she was standing crying in the rain on Rin's porch and Rin comforted her. No wait... those were parts of her imagination running wild again. Alas her poor poor customer.
A noise behind her caused her to turn and see the woman following her again. Hurray! The happy times could continue once again! "Just a bit farther," Rin said in an almost too cheery tune her tails lashing behind her.

Zdena followed, unaware of the fantasy life playing out in the shopkeep's head. The path was dark, but she managed to find her way. The tail-swishing owner was taking her to their destination and it was taking quite some time to get there. The whole set-up had a lot of room for improvement. She hoped the kitsune would take her suggestions seriously.
