The trunk was loaded and the Luggage Walker was prepped. It was short notice, but Zdena was able to acquire the appropriate materials that the spell required. She even had Effie run a quick search for the simplest summoning spell that would require the fewest materials. It was time to see just what she would be able to learn from this experiment.
Zdena had been hoping to interview some of the other guests who were able to use magic. But, she had yet to run across any. It was unfortunate, but the contest was still on going. That was another odd thing. She was certain that her calculations were correct. Given the number of suitors and the time that had passed before her arrival surely the princess would have made a decision by now. Perhaps the number of suitors provided too many variables?
The Luggage Walker trudged through the hunting grounds. Zdena sat, perched atop the trunk. It was important to use the Walker to it's full capacity and reach the test site as soon as possible. Her assistant was sure to have procured the space, by now.
So...do you think this alters your chances, Miss Zdena? thought Effie.
'Oh no. I don't believe this changes any of my projections, in that matter.' replied Zdena, 'While no decision has been made, one surely will be coming. The princess has already been developing relationships. However, this may mean we have more time. Additionally, our odds of forging a more open trade agreement are also improved. Which is very good news, indeed. We should take full advantage of this opportunity.'
The private meeting she was holding with Effie was cut short. Sora and the test site were not too far away and Zdena focused her attention back to the tasks at hand.

Sora waited beneath a cool shady tree and ate a apple. Here stormy blue drifting every so often around the clear grounds waiting for Zdena to make her appearance. She looked up for what seemed to be the 100th time her apple long gone when she saw her coming sitting on top of what looked like a walking suitcase.
Sora paused before shrugging, this girl sure was interesting. Waving a hand in the air she spoke "Hey over here "

The large metal legs trudged onward, the machine occaisionally letting out a large cloud of steam. Something that reminded Zdena of another project that she would have to start at some point. Her assistant waved her down and the inventor promptly directed the walker towards Sora.
"Excellent. This area will suit my purposes adequatly." Zdena said as the Luggage Walker came to a halt. It dropped down to what most would describe as a seated position and it's lone living passenger hopped down off it.
"We shall begin immediately." she said, turning to open the trunk and began uoadung the supplies, "You may start by constructing a crude doorframe in the center. Or as close to the center as is managable. I will draw the circle and arrange the proper materials. Then, all I must do is recite the correct incantation and we shall recieve a visit from some ethereal being or another."

Sora nodded and went about making the best door she could with the stuff just laying about, once it was done she sat it down in the circle and made sure it would stand alone and not fall. Once it was stable she stepped back and looked to Zdena to see what would happen.

Zdena busied herself with the preperations to the summoning spell. If all went to plan she would have a fascinating interview. Sora, meanwhile, had completed the doorframe.
"Very good. This will do nicely." she remarked, "Now. Let us begin."

Sora nodded and backed up a bit and watched Zdena work before asking "So....whats this going to do anyway if you don't mind me asking?"

"Effie. Pull up the information on the ritual."
And with that command a scroll blinked it's way into existance in front of the inventor. She read the instructions very carefully before she begun her work I'm the circle. The items she had procured were mundane enough. Most of them she found laying around the castle, half of them she didn't even bother asking for. What little remained, she happened to have been traveling with.
(OOC: sorry for the delay, still making this up as I go along XP)

Sora looked over the scroll and what Zdena was doing "So, your pretty sure this is going to work right, its not going to blow up in our faces or anything is it" She backed up a bit before frowning and moving closer to Zdena getting ready to grab her up incase anything happened to the girl.
(OOC: yeah me too, but i guess going with the flow of things is never bad)

"There is no need for such concerns. Such volitile reactions will not be in place during a summoning." Zdena said, "I made a flawless copy of the original document. With that, it is merely a matter of adhering to the written instructions."
Sora, while an eager and able assistant, seemed to show concern over the slightest thing. The inventor made the reasonable assumption that her small size was partly to blame. It must appear that she could be put in a state of peril by a harsh wind.
Assembling the remaining materials in a small bowl, Zdena drew a circle before the frame and placed her offering within it. The next step required a small amount of blood. With a scalple, she made a small incision on her left finger and squeezed a few drops out.
Before continuing, she calmly wrapped her finger in a bandage and stood to her feet. The sky had already begun to darken, as she picked Effie up from the ground. The page she had been drawing from blinked into existence before her.
"Now the tricky part." she said, "I believe I shall have to guess at the proper pronunciation. I would dislike making such a mistake after going this far."
(OOC: Wow that took longer than I thought ><. My apologies again. But at least a good old fashioned McGuffin bailed me out XD)
