Liliana had to be careful now, if it was only a case of quick possession to test her then it was alright but if this was all part of some darker manipulation she would have to be wary. "No, nothing you've done yet has bothered me." She forced herself to appear relaxed and decided submissive might be safer and more appropriate for her place in life. Still, a sudden switch would be jarring and reveal her so Liliana planned to start it slow. "Though I hope nothing I've said has bothered you."

blushing she waved her hand a signal she had seen many other girls do when waving away something. "Not at all, not at all. Its hard to offend me when I seem only to have positive emotions. Its just to tell the truth I am a tiny bit fearful of you after all the stories I heard when I was little. Most portraying humans to be dangerous, scary creatures that aren't to be trusted I guess I am just letting my guard down a little around you as you don't seem to match the stories I have heard."

"I'm sorry, could you explain that again ma'am?" That was unexpected. What game was she playing? Liliana had no idea and was thrown completely off balance. Of course she was far too skilled to give any sign of that. "You say you are not human then." Liliana smiled and let her shoulders relax. This was both to imply that she was comfortable and to appear a bit smaller. One of many tricks she was going to have to employ to escape from this danger.

"Of course I'm not human. No I am actually a high demon. Princess Skye Slain-Ribbors of the Australasian high demon's." grinning she curtsies to the girl. "At your service. But before you jump to any conclusions please know that what has been written in books about us is laughably false I have just recently finished reading a story about such a one." grinning she hands her the book. "I find it amusing that we have a very similar book but written about humans." hands her another book that as she had said was quite similar to the first one but painted humans in the negative light instead of demons.

She admitted it. Oh gods she admitted it. Liliana manually took control of her breathing and slowed her heart before it began racing. Demons are liars and tricksters, they wouldn't tell the truth unless it was in their advantage. Liliana was really beginning to panic. "I see." As usual, her voice betrayed none of her hidden emotion. "So what is it that brings you here to grace us with your presence ma'am?" She had to be polite of course, but more than that, she had to be prepared to run. Liliana had been trained to kill quickly and quietly and dozens of options presented themselves, but that was for humans, not demons. She had never thought she would run into a situation like this even before she left her family.

stretching she looks at her. "Please don't be frightened." hoping to calm her nerves. "High demon's are basically a lesser version of human's angel's so there is nothing to fear." thinking again she believes it would be in both of their best interests for her to tell the truth. "As for why I am here I have already told you it is because I have eben banished from my own Queendom by my mothers until I find a wife."

"A wife. I see." She didn't really, not unless the demon was a shape changer like she had heard before. "And I expect you have joined these others in the attempt to woo the Princess." Liliana kept her emotions hidden, especially her feelings for the princess. Simply put, she disliked her immensely. She had no idea why her mistress desired her cousin so much, or even cared for it all. She had a deep feeling that deep under everything the mistress was a bit of a masochist herself. "I hardly see how it would be worth it though, after all, she needs help to run her kingdom, and you wish to return to your own." Liliana was careful to phrase this as noncritical as possible. She had to remain docile.

"No I don't desire the princess. To tell you the truth personally I don't much like her. I even feel a bit funny trying to search for a wife amoungst all these girls who's main aim is to woo her. But it is where I have been isolated to so I guess I don't really have much of a choice really do I?" carefully thinking about her words she rephrases. "About trying to find a wife here I mean not about trying to woo the princess."

"Ah." Liliana nodded as if in agreement. She wasn't following much of it but it all could be lies anyway. "I expect here is the most likely place to find a candidate then. Unless you were to go to the slave market and buy yourself a wife." Liliana had a growing feeling that this demon was playing with her. Thoughts shouldn't mirror like this and she knew that she had given nothing away. "Though I expect you know of the slave markets yourself and have your own reasons for not taking a mate there."

"I do know of the slave markets and I disagree with them. Not the slaves themselves but the markets it just doesn't seem right to me to steal someone from their home and make them a slave only to be someones wife or servant later on in life. Just a personal opinion at any rate we don't have slaves in Australasia so I wouldn't be able to buy one anyway."

"You're speaking of a captured slave then. There are just as many who simply are trying to pay for crimes or pay off debts. There are even some who enjoy it and sell themselves." Liliana was one of those herself, but she was under no illusions that the demon hadn't known about the people who would sell themselves for whatever gain they had, or their souls.

looking at her confused she frowns. "But why would someone want to sell themselves? it seems a bit strange if you ask me not meaning any offense or anything but why give up your freedom for the sake of being ordered around? I mean I know some people enjoy being ordered around but you can do that and be free at the same time can't you?"

"But if I were to do that, then where would the drive come from. If something was optional then there's no reason to do it if not for gain. It's the threat of punishment that makes it all worthwhile and you can't be punished for not doing something you never had to do in the first place. That only breeds resentment. Besides," Liliana flicked her hand as if dismissing the argument. "if it comes down to it I can leave and nobody here could stop me."

"Ahh so you're one of the people that sold themselves to slavery yourself are you?" easily catching on to each word Liliana said. "Interesting that reveals a lot more about you then you probably originally intended for it to do." "So what benifit's do you recieve from your slavery Lil?" Coming up with the nickname that she was going to stick to her she looks curious. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want"

Liliana inwardly cursed herself for letting it slip but kept her annoyance hidden. She couldn't show weakness in front of a demon, she had lowered her guard and that was a mistake. This demon was tricky. "If you must know ma'am, I take great pleasure from seeing that my mistress gets what she needs and if it is not detrimental to that, what she wants as well."
