nodding again she looks at her. "So what do you have against me anyway? Is it because I am a demon that you're acting so much stranger then earlier on? Because if it is I didn't choose to be born like this you know I just was." having finally picked up the way that the attitude had changed between the two of them she had suddenly felt upset as though even by the cold nature that had been shown to her was like a slap to the face and she curls up, "Thankyou for your company if you want you no longer need to speak to me." resting her head on her knee's now she expects the girl she had been speaking to these past few hours to walk away.

"Of course it's because you're a demon." Liliana wasn't sure what to do and so she resorted to what truth there was. I do not know if anything you're telling me is true, all I know of demons you seem to deny and yet it is only your word, that of a demon, that I have. You say you felt some fear of humans, that we were evil and yet you reveal yourself to me. Should I believe that you are naive or that you are simply trying to manipulate me? I don't know enough about you to believe you and even then I have heard stories of demons who plan their devious acts for centuries. Do you expect me to drop my guard simply because you've told me that you've been kicked out until you marry? And that too is suspect. Taking a wife? I have never heard of a demon taking a wife who was not dragged off against her will. And look at you, you comee for a wife, not of your own will you claim, and yet you appear female. I do not understand you so I will not expose myself to you.

nodding but not uncurling she silently agree's with Liliana "I understand where you got your judgments from but please believe me that not every demon is like that. It would be like saying every human is bent on destroying their environment. Or on stealing from each other and killing each other." curling up closer to herself now she adds "And the reason I happily exposed myself to you and to others is that I am trusting and I have seen enough of both our worlds by now as to be able to know that what is written in the books is false. As for why I am seeking a wife and I AM female is simple. It is a tradition of the crown to marry women instead of men, We simply don't trust men is all. As for the reason you haven't heard of a demon taking a wife that wasn't against her will, That is primarily blamable on the books Author's usually go for the dramatic darker side of a race and forget that there are good sides to them as well focusing on the bad in order to get sales basically."

Liliana stared at the demon. "Be that as it may, most usually leave in some good point and I have heard nothing good. It's all stories of manipulation and the perversion of wishes." She frowned. "Asking for dreams to come true ends with nightmares as well, asking to be reunited with a dead lover ends in death for the wishmaker as well, these are just a few stories I have grown up learning. The manipulation of a promise is not a terrible thing, I myself understand its usefulness. however I do not approve of such manipulations as to hurt the wishmaker, especially when there is no other reason than spite."

"I...I'm a High d..d.demon we're different from the other's its l..like the fa..allen angels for demon's" crouching even tighter into herself having told the truth during the entire time she had felt a powerful sting when her kind's reputation had stabbed her in the back "P..Please belive meee."

"I don't mean to upset you ma'am." Liliana said carefully. "I don't wish to slander you unless you deserve it and that's for you to know, not me. I'm just making sure you understand why I have to be careful now that I know what you are. I like my lot in life well enough. It's not great or anywhere near perfect but I know it could be a lot worse and I have to keep that from happening. That means caution. I hope you understand."

nodding she slowly uncurls and grins sadly but trying to show happiness. "I understand. I am sorry I must have acted ridiculously back then." wiping her eyes she smiles even warmer this time. "Will you at least give me a chance to prove to you that the words that I have said weren't false?"

blinking she takes out a bottle of truth serum from her pocket. "I am sure that you know what this is but you can test it if you wish to make sure of it." hands the bottle over. "I am going to inject that into myself and then you can ask any questions of me you want. I won't be able to lie to you with that running through my veins."

Liliana pushed away the offered hand. "I won't be having that. For one you could be immune which is what I'd expect from one of the evil demons I believe exist, but more than that I would not use something like that to force the truth from someone. Messing with the mind through chemicals is not proper though I won't deny I've seen pain used to pry out the truth. Neither of which should be used simply to check the truth that's been said before holds true. No Ma'am, I will not see you drug yourself for my benefit."

"Hmm no usage of truth serum to reveal to you the truth. Hold on a second then." mumbling some words she places her hands on her own chest and a radiant bright light bursts forth from her hands being absorbed by her body. Her eyes turning white. "Ask me any question you want and I will answer correctly." she said in a voice devoid of all tone.

If you want to prove yourself to me so badly then I assume you're willing to work for it. If you are willing to give me your effort then I shall give mine. I am willing to expose myself to your company despite the dangers that may or may not exist. If you wish to prove to me you mean me no true harm then you may. I am willing to spend time with you should my mistress allow me the time to dispense. Then I will judge you on your actions rather than on your tricks."

If you look back far enough I am sure you would find some ancestry of your own that has royal blood in it almost everyone does." waving away the betters comment.
