Sevi glanced at Dusty her face masked in a questioning look. “Why?” She asked plainly. As if it were one of the oddest things to be offered. It wasn’t like she was offered much before and almost all had strings attached. She had to feel her way through this one. The woman may be plotting something still and Sevi couldn’t let her guard down just because someone was nice enough to lend you their coat when it was cold.
Her eyes were a bit more than questioning as if Accusing Dusty of something with her glance and before she knew it the man was done. Or rather there had been an awkward silence filled with Sevi contemplating the many things the woman may ask for in return for the small favor… some not pleasant.
Ahh her jacket~ good as new or rather better than the ‘new’ she had gotten it in. “Thanks Mister.” She said and pulled the jacket on in a flash. Ahh all the holes were gone~ it was like a miracle and her favorite piece of clothing would remain so much longer now in her possession.

"'Cuz...it's kinda cold and..." Dusty didn't expect to have to explain the nature of exposed skin in cold environments. "Well..." she pointed to Sevi, "Ya kinda don't have shirt."
She was interrupted by the tailor and the situation was avoided completely. She shrugged as the fighter put the newly repaired jacket back on. Dusty looked back over to the tailor and gave a tip of her hat.
"Thanks!" she said, "We'll get a movin' now. If ya ever need anythin', you got my card."
Dusty headed for the door to lead the way out.

Sevi followed dusty throguh the rest of the house the old codger probably needed his sleep, and Sevi wasn't going to deprive him of it. He had fixed her jacket and with a nod they were done and clear. of course she still didn't know if she could trust the woman in front of her. a new jacket and a semi-good pact... deal? didn't make them partners of any sort.
When the door was basically slammed on her backside she looked at the woman beside her. "So, whats next?" Seemed an appropriate thing given the situation. of course the newness of her jacket and those holes that werent there she had gotten used to... may be effecting her more than she wanted to admit.

Returning to the night air, Dusty stretched her arms and let out a yawn, "Next? Next is shut-eye! Follow that up with a close investigation of the crime scene. Then digging around some records and tracking down where the culprit could be." she said, "Feed 'im a coupla knuckle sandwhiches and lock his ass up. We'll probably get a few answers before his jaw breaks. And if there's anyone else involved we beat them up, too."

"Yer job sounds more interestin than previously." Sevi said as if it were plain as day. she did like to fight... only difference was it was legal this way. "Specially the last part." She coudl have asked many questiopns like 'how do we know where the scene is, or 'when do we start? but none of that came to mind... only fighting. and maybe if she pocketed the money from the ones they beat then she could eat a lot for a while. it was like a win win situation.
"Later then." Sevi said a jumped a ways out into the street fromt he small steps and then started off to the right. the thought of the woman finding her never crossed her mind... or rather how they would meet up the next day.

Sevi probably could have stuck around to organize a meeting time. And location. But she didn't. Meaning Dusty would have to spend her time tomorrow tracking her down. The detective sighed and then yawned one more time. It was far too late to worry about all that.
"Oh, that one's gonna be a handful." she mused to herself, as she walked off in the opposite direction. It was time to finally get some sleep. After a quick nightcap, of course.
