"That will be 4 copper coins."
"Copper coins?" Levi voiced as she placed a single apple back into the basket she took it out of. Thats right... her mother mentioned something about how the currency and money used during this time was different compared to back home. They were still in the coin stage. Her mother gave her a set of coins she could use to duplicate using one of her auntie Rowans inventions. But due to the excitement of traveling to the past and seeing her mother 207 years younger as well as finally meeting her other mother Nova, she had left the set on top of the table in her moms santuary. You idiot Simone.. She mentally scolded herself as she sighed in defeat. If only she could get a hold of a set of coins then she could duplicate it. Never before had she thought she would find herself penny-less.
Mom should be laughing about now if she knew..
Thats when she saw it. On the edge of the table, laid a black covered book with silver trimmings. She reached out as she briefly flushed through the pages. Why... it was a journal. A beautiful one at that. Imagine all the things she could write on here. As well as put some pressed flowers into. She was sure her mother would be delighted if she managed to bring some flowers and plants from this era back home. They barely had a wide variety of flowers thanks to the upcoming wars.
"That is 3 silvers."
Levi grunted towards the man as she placed the book hesitantly back. She must get some coins. But how? She glanced to the side as she noticed a woman doing errands for a bakery. Maybe a job? No no no... Levi had never done such things in her whole life. Maybe a job that requires her skills? But what would that be?
Thats when a soft tune gently echoes through her elf sensitive ears. She would know that instrument anywhere. "A violin?" She whispered to herself. She loses interest in the journal- atleast for a bit as she follows the gentle tune. It lead her to a place she never thought existed in the town. Faces looked to her as she ventured into the area slowly. Judging by their attitude, speech, charisma, and clothing these were the towns high class rich. So such a place indeed existed. Back home they had such gathering places. Different set ups and fashion but the very same nontheless.
Levi was one of the few that distated the scene. But for her mother and also her personal liking of music- she always attended.
"Boy! Play another song!"
A rather fattening blonde male yells as he sits finely upon his chair. The said 'boy' was rather the violinist that played the sweet melody that lead her there. She stood and watched in silent as the violinist played another song. Her mother back home adored the violin. She even nicknamed it 'Veela'. Levi would always watch her mother as she played through all hours at the day. It always seemed to calm her so. Once the melodic tune had ended, she thoughts instantly vanished as a roar of hands clapped for the young male violinist. Thats when something caught her attention. The audience in question threw golden coins at his feet. The young violinist quickly bowed before he started on collecting his coins.
So.... you get money for playing a song for these people?

She had followed the blonde throughout the city ever since she first saw her at the markets. The woman looked rich. Heck, you had to have at least a small fortune just to be able to afford her cape. So why? Why did she not have the money to buy any of those things?
At the same time Simone had heard the music, she had as well. Oh right. A violin performance was going on now. How could she forget? She actually liked the boy violinist, which was a first for her. So following her through the crowd she stood behind her with just three men separating them from each other. At the end, she saw her eyes stare at the pile of coins at the boy's feet. She knew what the other girl wanted. She wanted fame, glory and money. Heck, if their wishes were so similar why not just play the role of her manager? Waiting until everyone else has left the square she approached her and touched the tip of her hat. “Well? Are ya interested in performing here?” she asked standing in front of her and swept her hand in an arc around them to show the square in question. “How 'bout we get you a violin? Then we can make some real money.” She added whistling right after the word money. Looking up at her from the shadow of her hat she observed the woman's eyes, to see if she reacted to anything she said. Sure enough money triggered a response. “How 'bout we talk this over lunch? My treat.”

As the crowd began to diminish, Levi stared blank at the emptied stage before her. Maybe if she played, she could get a hold of some coins. One performance was all she needed. Her mother was a fine violinist. Though Levi did have experience playing the violin, her talent showed greatly when she was on the piano. Everytime they had a function, her mother would always be singled out and pleaded to play a piece. Not liking to keep the spot light all to herself, she always pulled Levi up with her. Her mother on the violin, while she managed the piano. A wonderous duo they made. It was like a private word-less mother and daughter conversation. Levi was oblivious to the fact that the area was almost completely empty of life.
“Well? Are ya interested in performing here?”
Thoughts were put on halt as Levi turned around only to see a girl in what she looked to be sporting a oversized look. Levi also took note that the girl had a rope tied around her waist. Was it so to keep her pants from falling? She eyed the girl in silent before glancing back at the stage. "A bit." She responded as simply as that. She took a few steps closer to the stage, standing on the middle as she pivoted on her heels. Turning around fully so she now faced the girl. So this was the stage huh?
“How 'bout we get you a violin? Then we can make some real money.”
Levi couldnt help but notice the 'we' in what the other girl had said. She didnt mind though. So long as she got a set of coins. The rest the girl could have. "A violin... you know where to get one?" At the offer of lunch and it was her treat, Levi shrugged quietly as she again looked the girl over. How exactly did the girl expect to pay not only for a violin but to be able to pay for lunch? Then again, if there was one thing Levi was taught, it was never to judge by appearances.

“Beautiful ain't it?” She asked clapping as she watched her spin around. “Is there anything else you can play besides the violin? Maybe you could learn the flute, I heard it was quite popular these days.” She smirked putting her hands in her pocket and motioned down the street with a jerk of her head. “There's a cafe down the street or so I'm told.” Eris said starting to walk towards her destination. She started to speak to herself as if listing the things they would need to do before being able to perform. “So we'll lunch there. Then get you a violin or whatever other instrument you'd like.” Truth be told, she had no intention to pay for anything, she had no money. None at all. Hopefully the girl could run quickly, dine and dash only works if they actually are able to escape. The thought made her happy, she was imagining what the girl would do when she calmly explained to her that they had no money to pay for the food and the only way would be to run. Ha! She'd probably be hopelessly confused and then start to run with her.
As they walked down the street they passed by a few nobles, and by reflex her hands moved quickly like a snake, a blur only visible to one with keen eyes, and the noblemen's bourses would suddenly find themselves cut from their strings and into her pocket. “Enough for a violin.” She said quietly to herself as she weighed the newest addition in her hand. She turned her head to look at her and frowned slightly, pointed ears... So the woman was an elf like her. “Do you have money?” She asked deciding to figure out her future business partner's social status. Her armor looked expensive, as were her daggers. She remembered seeing something like that in a weapon store once. The thing cost more than her entire savings for food. So the elf-woman had to be rich right? Then remembering something even more important than asking about her money. “The name's Eris Dismas, what's yours?”

“Is there anything else you can play besides the violin? Maybe you could learn the flute, I heard it was quite popular these days.”
Levi was about to respond, 'Piano' but then again she wasnt entirely sure if it was invented around this time. She didnt wish to chance it. "No. Only the violin. As for flute... its a pleasant melody although I have no interest in learning it." That was a lie. She lied just as an excuse to not get caught up in a more than one performance deal. All she needed was one bout with a violin and she didnt need to play for the audience anymore. Did the other girl think that she was going to keep playing for the crowd? Maybe she should voice it out.. just so the other didnt get her hopes too high up. Just as she was about to tell the other girl of her intention of it being a only one-time show thing, she is halted by the voice of the other girl.
“There's a cafe down the street or so I'm told.”
With the other walking towards the destination, Levi found it rather rude if she would yell out in the open for her. They were about to talk at the cafe right? So maybe it could be saved for then. She jumped off the stage as she followed after the girl. Along the way, she passed by a few well mannered people. Though she was the one from the future, the girl before her seemed to catch their eye before looking away. Such people irritated Levi. She had enough of those kind of people back home. She stared intently at the girl before her. Staring at her back as she progressed through the streets. She could only imagine what this girl was thinking. Eyes then glance down as she noticed a rather quick movement. Did she just...? Though Levi remained quiet. It wasnt her place to say anything. The other girl apparantly had a hard life. And she was sure the rich could lend her some time after time- even so they unaware of it.
“Do you have money?”
Mm? Levi looked over at the girl in front of her, completely snapping her back to whats around her. "No. I dont." She answers plainly before looking to the side at the people passing by. "Im new here." Was her explaination.
“The name's Eris Dismas, what's yours?”
Eris Dismas... Levi said softly in her head as a way to feel the taste of it. "Levi, or Le Vier. Pleasure- Eris."

She pushed open the wooden door and sat down at the table closest to the door(better be prepared to run away and a head start is always nice) and ordered two meat pies. Eris smiled at Levi as the waitress served them their food. "About this show. The income we'll split it 80-20. 20 for you, 80 for me that is." she smirked deviously intertwining her fingers. "Since I'm providing you with a meal and your musical instrument." Yes she was very greedy but then again the girl in front of her was just as maybe even more poor then herself. "Do you have a place to stay? Or should I provide you shelter as well." Yes her plan was coming to fruition in your mind, she could have her sign a contract and if she failed to honor it then she'd be in debt which means she could then legally keep her as a slave. Eris licked her lips imagining how it'd play out. She looked very innocent, law-abiding and honest. Yes even if the show doesn't bring in any money she'd still win either way

Levi silently walked behind Eris until they both entered the said cafe. Levi eyed the table that Eris had chosen, but said nothing as she took her seat in front of the other. Levi had always been one to proceed with caution, and the way the scene was playing out, didnt go well with her. This was also the first time her meal was chosen for her. It was probably for the best- what in the world was a meat pie? A random picture of the only 'pie' she was aware of which was cherry flavor popped in her head. The thought was beyond her- but she couldnt knock it til she tried it.
"About this show. The income we'll split it 80-20. 20 for you, 80 for me that is."
Ahh.. a rather brave or openly greedy little thing she was. This thought was enough to make Levi grin slightly before it slowly faded away. Personally she didnt mind. All she wanted was one set of coins. The rest she was going to give the girl known as Eris the rest either way. Never before had she seen such a person with such spunk and yet so open about it. It was rather interesting.
"Since I'm providing you with a meal and your musical instrument."
So that was her excuse.. Levi stared at Eris before looking down at one of the wonders of the world. It looked like a pie.. Levi picked up her fork as she stabbed it, prying it open. Such brown color... yet... it smelt so delicious. Maybe it wasnt that bad? Taking one scoop, she places it into her mouth as she dined the way she was taught how to. Eyes glistened as she looked at Eris. "Its.... delicious."
"Do you have a place to stay? Or should I provide you shelter as well."
Levi poked at her food before smiling. "That depends... is it part of the 80% Or will it be of extra cost?" She looked down at her cape as she straightened the back of it. She didnt wish it to get wrinkled.

She nodded in agreement to it. “Anyways, it'd be 95 me and 5 for you then. Unless you're living with me I guess it'd be extra.” She said shrugging and took a bite out of her meat pie. “It does taste quite good.” She agreed finishing her meal and wiped her hand on her pants. “So finish your meal and lets get going.” she said looking back at the waiter. She was out of sight and therefore out of mind. She motioned for her to come closer to her. “When you're done. Meet me outside at the square in around 30 minutes.” She said and stood up. “Remember don't get caught.” She smirked and dashed out of the restaurant.
She sat there on one of the chair a violin in her hand, cautiously she strummed the strings. “Sounds fine... I just hope that boy tuned it right.” She said putting it back in the case. She had just stolen it from the boy who was just performing. She smiled, the boy won't know about it until he tried to perform tomorrow. It'll be too late then, she's got them booked for the for the first show of the morning.

“Anyways, it'd be 95 me and 5 for you then. Unless you're living with me I guess it'd be extra.”
Levi shook her head amused. If the other ever met her sister Shay back home it would be a war zone right now. The thought and image that played in her mind of her sister Shay and Eris at each others throat caused the young princess to smile. It wouldve been a fun sight to see. Shay herself was rather greedy. Greedy yet blunt to just about anyone.
“When you're done. Meet me outside at the square in around 30 minutes.” “Remember don't get caught.”
As the other leaned close and offered a few sentences, Levi closed her eyes as she continued chewing. So it was just as expected.. they were eating and running. Though she saw the possibility of this happening- running and leaving an unpaid debt wasnt in her. She grew up under her mothers watching and strict eyes. 207 years and never once had she stole anything nor has she ran away from a debt. As soon as the other left she properly taps her mouth with a napkin before standing up. The waitress in question had already returned into sight.
"That will be 2 silvers.." She said holding a smile. Levi looked at her hands and saw that they were calused and abused by work. Even her eyes were darkened by circles. "I unfortunately dont have any money." Levi stated as she looked at the trays of the emptied 'meat pies'. "I see... well... thats alright. You seem new here so allow me to make it my treat." She replied still holding her smile. Levi looked at her before taking off her cape. It held her family crest that the people in this time wouldnt know but it would be a huge empire in the future. "This cape.. is made by the finest silk one could ever hope to find. Made not by ordinary hands but magically enforced by three of the strongest healers back at my homeland. The artistic design alone is thingly refined with powdered gold. Selling this will easy get you a huge sum. Though I never had the heart to sell it. Youre correct I am new here. But it seems that even here during this time, gold and silk material are pretty well seeked. Please take this as payment for the two pies." Levi said as she hands the cape over to the girl. "But... the pies were only 4 silver coins. What of your left overs?" She asked as she held onto the cape. "Its yours. Good day." Levi stated as she exited the cafe.
Walking towards the said destination, though cape-less. Levi smiled to herself. She jumps onto the top of the buildings as she looks to see her location. Ah.. there it is. She dashed above the rooftops before finally jumping from the air doing a twirl and silently landing next to Eris. "Thats a fine looking violin.." Then she took a closer look. "Doesnt that belong to that boy from earlier?" She questioned.

She cocked her head to a side and stared at her frowning slightly. Why did this girl have to be so observant. She sighed and walked down towards her bringing the violin with her. She took the girl's hands and turned and put the violin in her hands. She sighed and shrugged her shoulders looking down on her. “Look sometimes in life, you just got ta play rough. So yes this is that boy's violin.” She said putting her arms on her sides glaring at her now. “Does it really matter? I mean now you can play and make money.” She said a little crossly.
She brought her hand on her business partner's shoulder and smiled. “Now let's get some rest, we've got an early morning tomorrow.” She said hoping the girl would play at the very least. If she didn't then that would breach the contract... Which she didn't sign yet. Damn.
She brought out a folded piece of paper and pointed to the dotted lines at the bottom. “If you would sign here. Then you would get your 20% as stated before.” Eris smiled sweetly, hoping it the girl wouldn't read the contract. “By the way, where is your cape?”

“Look sometimes in life, you just got ta play rough. So yes this is that boy's violin.” “Does it really matter? I mean now you can play and make money.”
Levi stares at the violin within her grasp as she sighs. "I wanted to make money... yes. But.." She hands Eris the violin back, "..not like this." Being the next one in line for the thrown, if she even dared do so it would be very shameful for her to face her mother. It wasnt in her to do something like that. Not that she looked down upon Eris, why the girl was by far stronger than anyone she had ever seen. Her attitude and spunk would be very welcomed if they met back at her time. "Ill make money some other way." She added.
“If you would sign here. Then you would get your 20% as stated before.”
Despite what she said, there was no harm in looking at the contract. If there was one thing her mother taught her, it was to read EVERYTHING on the contract. Twice if needed. There were some very cunning individuals out there, and once stumbling upon some sentences that caught her interest, her 'manager' was such an individual. "I see.." Then an idea came to her mind. "Ill sign.. 'but'.." Taking the pen, underneath the contract she makes another. "You must sign this. It states that you have to tell me everything in your words the pros and cons of your contract. Should you penalize yourself from doing so in leaving out certain information, then not only will it be voided BUT you will have to surrender whatever amount you make to the violin boy." Smiling as she hands the pen and contract to Eris.
"I have already read your part of the contract and I must say.. youre quite the handy work. But~ Ill give you the benefit of a doubt for you to read aloud to me everything on your part of the contract." Then at the mention of her lost cape, Levi shrugged. "I mustve lost it."

“Ugh!” She groaned grabbing the contract back from her and proceeded to tore it up into tiny tiny pieces. “Fine. No contract. So that means no money.” She sighed glaring at her. Damn so this girl wasn't that easily fooled. Perhaps it was time to try something else and where was the girl's cape. It added to her flair and charm... Could've brought in more money that way.
“Fine. I guess the other way we could do it, is to sell your body for money.” She said and pulled out another contract. “Now just sign here~!” She said giving her a wide grin. She knew there would be no way for the girl to do it but it's still worth a shot, right? She looked at her closer, yup it was still bothering her. There would be no way in hell she'd lose her cape. “Tell me the truth. Did you really lose your cape or did you just give it to the girl to pay the bill?”

Levi blinked as she watched the contract shredded to pieces before her. At being offered another contract regarding selling her body, Levi just stared at Eris. Did she really think she would do such a thing? Levi shook her head as she handed her back the contract, not even bothering to read it. "I will never sell my body." She claimed as simply as that.
At the mention of her cloak once more, Levi smiled. "Yes.. I did." Then she took three steps forward as she looked once more at the violin. "Ill play. But its by my rules." She turned to face Eris as she held a grin. "Ill play for three days. The first and second day, whatever we make, 100% will go to you. But on the third day.. all I only ask for is one of each coin." She offered her had to Eris as a way to seal that agreement. "Is it a deal?"
OOC: Not at all lol~ I kind of knew it was hard to respond to. v.v; Im so sorry.. you shouldve told me though Q.Q I wouldve changed some parts to it.

“Deal. Deal. Deal.” She nodded emphatically grabbing the girl's hand and gave it a strong shake. She was terribly happy at the prospect of making so much money. Even if it was for just three days. “Here consider this as a down payment.” She said pulling out a copper coin from her pocket and slapped it down on her hand. “I look forward to our partnership. I'm sure you won't disappoint the crowd right?” Eris joked nudging her in the side.
“I hope you don't mind but... Would you be so kind as to play something for me? You know just to make sure the violin is in tune.” Though she actually just wanted to hear her play a tune, anything was fine as long as there was music. “And we need an outfit... A bit more revealing around the breasts to attract those snobs.” She said to herself mentally adding another item to her mental checklist. Perhaps something a bit more tight around the bust? Yes that'd do... A corset? Mhmmm...

“I look forward to our partnership. I'm sure you won't disappoint the crowd right?”
At a copper coin being placed upon her hand, she looks down at it before looking back up at her new business partner. She had to admit, she wasnt even expecting a down playment within the few minutes of their agreement being made. Eyes settled upon Eris before she formed a smile. She wasnt so bad...
“I hope you don't mind but... Would you be so kind as to play something for me? You know just to make sure the violin is in tune.”
Levi blinked before she looked at the violin. She tapped each string before nodding. "Its tuned." She bluntly replied. Being a pianist and violinist, she has learned to tell if it was tuned without actually playing it. But Levi had a suspicion that Eris just wished to see if she could actually play. How funny this woman was. She couldve just asked her directly to play a piece. Maybe it was just part of her personality. Quite amusing..
She lifted up the violin at her regular pose. Taking a deep breath to level her body down so she was still when she played. Thats when the others words broke her concentration, although only temporarily.
“And we need an outfit... A bit more revealing around the breasts to attract those snobs.”
She playfully glared at Eris, hoping she was joking. Nobody besides her mother ever got her into a dress. Let alone one that showed her greatest asset. Levi had huge breasts. Many adored it, but she hated it. In fights, it would only bounce and get in her way. Thats why she binded it against her body. It was still rather big but it wasnt as bad.
She tried to ignore the fact that the other was going on about finding such revealing clothes. To block the images from popping into her thoughts, she started to play her piece.
