Another demon hunt or? (Rasha)

having left the deep caverns of the archives far behind Ley had observed as they wandered into the Magical area of town feeling a shiver as all the different powers of the area flew over her. This was definetly a good place to start a search and who know's maybe she might be able to find some-way to earn Rasha's love. "So many new things to see." she said sighing. "Its annoying I was stuck in my tree for so long. It seems many different religions and powers have risen and fallen whilst I was stuck."

Rasha was used to the walk through the bustle. The smells of the street they were on and all the noise. She was set up in the castle but she had been around her more than once. That odd fox woman should have a shop near where they were… or maybe that was a different part of town. She heard Ley’s first bit of talking in a while. She preferred the silence, but she was sure the “girl” had been locked in that tree for a while with no company by now. Surprisingly sane… or seemed to be anyways.

“A few, but only as is always.” Came her reply short and… distracted. She heard people talking of demons, but it turned out to be that demoness Kari. That brought back awkward memories.

"So how have you been coping with the new hustle-bustle and the changes since we last met? Also I am kinda sorry that the time we used to spend together and everything was so fuzzy if somehow your tongue had slipped about who I was and where I lived I would be up to my ears in hunters." She said slightly upset at the memories of when one of her old friends had betrayed her location in a previous spot before she had met Rasha.

Rasha turned a quizzical eye on the girl beside her. “So… you believe that I would be bested enough to reveal anything I did not wish to?” Her face twisted into a menacing grin, “I who could engulf this entire town in a never ending night without too much trouble?” Of course that would only last so long as someone didn’t come along to stop her. Or overpower her spell after she had been at it for a while.

The strange fox was walking toward them. She hastily grabbed Ley’s hand and pulled her into the shadows then as if it were right there out onto the next street over walking out of a different shadow. The street itself was deserted.. perhaps she had moved to many streets in haste. Alas it didn't matter, her hand immedietly left Leys grasp turned and pinned her to the wall in one swift motion. Realizing her hand wasn't where it was supposed to be by the firmness... or rather lack there of she shifted it. Ley was shorter than she remembered. Maybe she was goign senile... or that blasted spell had lingering effects. “Now where were we?”

"No I don't believe you of all people could be bested Rasha except by me or one of my sisters Zeli for example. But still it was a safety precaution for those such as Carna who couldn't really help herself either way."

"Hmm" Taken by surprise more then anything Ley had suddenly found herself pressed up against a wall. "Uhh what do you mean where were we? We are here aren't we and we used to be there."

Rasha not one for knowing the definition of “personal space” well of others anyways put her face just before Ley’s. “You really think that I would be unable to ‘help myself’,” Rasha moved away letting the girl go and walking down the alley. She was rather angry for some reason. Being doubted on things probably did that to her. She never really had much experience with it… so she wasn’t sure.

She continued to walk if Ley wished she would follow. Where had she been going again? Blast she couldn’t remember.

"Rasha wait I know you wouldn't have told anyone I count on you with my life." Running after her as she stumbles over her words. "I'm sorry really I am I love you Rasha I just had to put it up for protections sake only and I knew you wouldn't have told anyone even with your dying breath but remember there were others as well."

Rasha had come to the end of the street in the middle of Ley’s sentence. A wave of sounds washed over her blanketing out the words from ‘I’m sorry’ and picking back up at ‘Wouldn’t have told anyone’. Regardless of how sorry the girl was she had still not placed trust in her. Rasha herself didn’t trust anyone. Of course anyone could be possessed by the damnable demon she was chasing so it was only natural.

Ley’s footsteps sounded softly off the cobblestones behind her as she stepped out into the street. Apparently she had hit an alley between the street they had been on and the one she had been aiming for. Shadow step was an art and she was beyond good at it. Apparently she was madder than she thought.

She shouldn’t have been mad at all. She hardly let her emotions show, why was her mask slipping so much recently. This damnable city was going to be her undoing if she didn’t get it back together.

Managing to catch up to Rasha she pulled her back into the alley so that she could hear her.

"Listen Rasha I do trust you alright. So please don't be mad at me. It was the others I didn't know whether to trust or not I know you wouldn't sell me out or at least my heart tell's me you wouldn't." Gulping now her face flushing she hadn't thought this through that was for certain but she may as well now.

"Rasha I love you. I truly and honestly do. It's hard for me to say it because in the past my loved ones kept dying but I can't help it anymore and I really do have feelings for you."

The girl could plead and say whatever she wished, but the fact was her memory was… tampered with. She would think the girl of all people would understand what it meant to live so long and have so many memories. Each one made you who you were now and who you would be in the future no matter how long it may be from that moment. Yet…as she aged she noticed that her memories faced of times passed like lights going out ever so slowly one after another replaced or over lapped by new lights.

She removed herself from Ley’s grasp and stepped back into the shadows once more. She was away from the girl. She heard what the girl had said last… an odd thing to say, but she was hardly one to judge on oddities. She stepped out inside a store… closet?

Sighing she follows feeling rejected but understanding Rasha's mood, still as she followed into the store or closet as she later found out it was she looked around slightly frightened. Feeling that something bad was about to happen or had already happened to the two of them.
