Life was...complicated. Nerys allowed herself to sigh and the reverberation through her soul was Al doing the same. It had been so long since she had been so near to Venus. She glanced in the direction of the city, clutching her legs to her chest. The young woman watched her motionless expression in the clear, still water. She seemed to be willing the image to move, but unwilling to move for herself for fear of disturbing the perfect stillness. The young witch had left Terre de Conte in search of the strong, powerful, and confident. While she had crossed many of the confident, there seemed to be fewer of the others than she had anticipated. It truly seemed that the world's best had gathered in this single empire. Her Highness Anactoria's call had brought hundreds of different people into the city. Venus was the epicenter. Everything was happening in Venus. This was where she could potentially make the most mischief, prove that she could be 'good'. Perhaps then, her people would accept her. Perhaps she would be able to return to Lunaria. She needed people who were strong, who were capable, who could help her create mischief. Mostly, she needed to meet as many people as she could to spread word back home that she was truly good. Nerys felt something soft against her neck and lifted her hand. Al nuzzled the blonde and shuddered under the weight of the witch's heavy thoughts. After all this time, she had finally convinced herself to return to Venus. It was so close. She glanced again in the city's direction before turning her attention back to the water. And yet, she couldn't bring herself to go there. What if she failed again? How long had she been traveling? "What if I can't do it?" she muttered desolately to herself. What if she couldn't make it back home?

Wandering the uncomfortable eastern part of the lands of Venus Zeli was groaning at the plants as the curse placed on her by her sister kept her in balance from doing what she desperately wanted to do.
Spotting the girl her ears just caught the phrase that she muttered and Zeli turns track wandering over to her silently as though her feet barely touched the ground and she pokes her head up behind said girl.
" What if you can't do what." she whispered darkly behind the girl before fading into her shadow.

Nerys jumped, startled at the unexpected voice. She could have sworn that she hadn't seen anyone else there. She glared in Al's direction while the small white bird gave a smug shrug. She has noticed and had chosen not to tell the young witch who grimaced slightly before looking around in search of the owner of the strange voice. No one that she could see. But the way Al hummed gently told her that there was another living soul nearby. Neyrs wasn't going crazy. Not quite yet, at least. A smile tugged at the corner of her lips, never quite making it to her off-colored eyes. "I am not quite sure how to address a voice without a body," she began politely, unconsciously straightening her posture in the presence of an audience. Since someone, albeit someone unknown and unseen, had been so kind as to respond to her question, although the response had been unexpected, it was only polite to respond as well. "I was wondering what I would do if I could not become good."

" Ahh thats a simple one if the path to becoming good is beyond reach then simply become evil. " she said still hiding inside Nerys' shadow. Hiding for now until she deemed the time right to show herself.
["color=Black] As for me showing myself I would but it has a bad nature usually on the person I show myself to and at the moment I wish you no misfortune. However I shall give you a brief glimpse [/color" she said again as she reforms herself laughing softly at her joke.

|| ♥ || ♥ || &hearts || ♥ || ♥ || ♥ || &hearts || "Misfortune seems to have taken a liking to me long ago," Nerys said, laughing gently. The sound mimicked the sweet twinkle of chimes. This was a very strange person indeed. The witch took the opportunity to examine the stranger while Al hid in a nest of soft blonde hair. Pale features stood out against a curtain of straight black hair. Become evil. Nerys hadn't thought of that. The thought brought another, louder, bubble of laughter to her lips. But no, she wouldn't be able to do that. She needed to become someone good, a leader for her people. There was no other option, not if she wanted to return home. "I don't need to become what I already am," she admitted desperately. It was true. She was a bad person, perhaps evil was extreme but she was clearly on her way. Especially if she continued to go out of her way to be helpful to outsiders. Perhaps there was no hope for her and she should embrace what she was. She shook her head, strands of hair falling from the loose ribbon tying it. No, she would become good. Nerys had to. The witch leaned back, still watching the stranger. 'Strange' seemed to be a very fitting word. "You're very odd, aren't you?" she said more bluntly than intended. Al nudged her nervously in warning, but in warning of what Nerys had no idea.

" Yes I am quite strange, more so then normal people to put it bluntly I am the original spirit of darkness to put it complexly well its up to you if you want the full story or not. So please tell me in what ways you are on your path towards evil" she finished off her sentence though her real lips didn't seem to move adding to the illusion that the person currently standing in front of Nerys was in fact an illusion itself.
