THe HeRaLD issue.two Season: Mid Winter Weather: Terre de Conte is now in the midst of the fiercest part of winter. The bitter cold refuses to let up and while there isn't always snow on the ground, the country is often covered with frost. Beware of blizzards and snowstorms as this is the time of year when these rare disasters most frequently occur. News: Under cover of the night, Princess Anactoria Sapphis IV has returned. The Empire rejoices and the imperial family prepares a celebration. Just as Anactoria I before her, Anactoria IV will choose a bride from the eligible women who have begun to gather at the castle. The Princess has revealed that she had taken refuge in the ruins that are rumored to appear outside the city at midnight. She has returned with information about a young girl who resides in the ruins. The rest is shrouded in mystery and the rumors spread through the city like the fire. Rumors: All is not well. There is much speculation regarding why the celebrations for Princess Anactoria IV's return have been put on hold. One such rumor involves the information that the Princess brought back regarding the existence of a young girl within the boundaries of the mysterious ruins. As to what will be done with this information: that much in unknown. It is believed that there is conflict in the imperial family as the Princess prepares to travel to the ruins.
