FROM HERE TO THERE
FULL NAME: Dayita Tangia Luesali
ALIAS / NICKNAMES: Gully, Grizz (for her silverish white hair), Missy—short for miscreant; a show of respect in her homeland, mad girl, Tangy, Lulu, Day (from Suara)
Her favorite aliases, however, list as- Lexus Ahsen, Sigrid Lexter, and Mary Baker—pretending to be human is fun. And, in Terra De Conte, Her Royal Highness Resi Luesali.
AGE: 17, but almost 18, so let’s go with that.
BIRTHDATE: July 10
RACE: Drow or Dark Elf
SOCIAL STATUS: Hailing from the west, Dayita was once her Mother, High Queen Elter of Luskar’s, right-hand woman and ‘favorite’. After an incident of humiliation on both their parts, she expelled her from her court. She, though, understands, and hopes Her Royal Bitch too will understand once she finds the dung mixed into his soap. A small parting gift. Dayita, however, is still the Archduchess of Selasvika, and the Duchess of Lemcury until her grandmother, Nayati, sees fit to die.
So, nobility, I guess. Since, she's a Duchess, having been stripped of the princess part.
OCCUPATION: Currently a harpist, but earns money from picking pockets and small burglary. She hopes to enter Princess Anactoria IV’s castle and pull off a heist that would take care of her for the rest of her life. And, though she loathes to admit it, bring her back into Mother’s (and Grandmother’s) favor.
DOWN TO THE FINER POINTS
HEIGHT: 5’7”
WEIGHT: 143 lbs
HAIR: White
EYES: Crimson
GENERAL APPEARANCE: Dayita has brown-skin with thick, braided hair down
to just above her shoulders. The pointed ears, white hair, and dark skin of other drows is evident in her. She carries the airs of someone tall and is unwillingly, slowly rebuilding the muscle lost from drunken nights and easy living.
PICTURE:
PERSONALITY: In the words of her old nursemaid, Dayita is a “bag o’ bad habits an’ ain’t ashamed o’ none o’ it”. She doesn’t live for the day, but to have fun today and live to see tomorrow. This causes her to come off as a coward when, really, it’s just self-preservation showing. She has a brave inclination, but will run with her tail between her legs if retreat—if not honorable—is necessary.
Dayita will help others, if that doesn’t hurt her, or better yet, helps her in return. An anarchist and member of the more chaotic side, she shows no respect for people, high or low status. (This only heightens her respect back home, despite her royal, very government controlled status.) She is petty, stubborn, and holds grudges, but these same traits are why she is so loyal. Dayita will hold a grudge from birth to death, but the same is for her promises and allegiances. That is why she can never fully turn from her Mother. This is shown by how she still refers to her as “My own Royal Bitch’.”

HOBBIES: Dayita loves stealing, hunting, singing, drinking, reading poetry (but don’t tell anyone), and telling wild tales everyday and all the day if she can. As a child, horseback riding was a favorite, but in her current state, such things can’t be thought of, not until later.
As of recent times, she’d found great enjoyment in rolling the dice, and other forms of gambling, and feels no shame in leaving town before she pays any debts she might make. She figures after the heist, she can pay them back…that is, if she ever finds the time.
BELOW THE SURFACE
SPECIAL SKILLS: Dayita is best at hand to hand combat, though she shows a knack for small blades, specifically daggers. A fine archer, she holds great weight in her aim, and has been able to shoot a blade of grass fields a way. It’s unknown whether this is true or simply another tale of hers.
WEAPONS: Small blades named after each of her brothers, sisters, and cousins, and a bow and arrow she call her Birdies and the Cat.
MAGICAL ABILITIES: A gift from her favorite Aunt on her twelfth birthday, rats serve Dayita. Whenever they or any other animal talks back, however, she decides it must just be the ale talking and carries on.
FAMILY: She has two sisters, and five brothers—three Princes, an Archduke, a Grand Duke; a Crown Princess, and a Princess—and all of them older. Many cousins fill up the ranks of Baron/Baroness up to Duke/Duchess. Her favorite Aunt, Haze, was a Marquess and the second youngest of five siblings, the polar opposite of Dayita.
Her Mother and Father, have no names as far as she’s concerned outside of: Mother, Father, King, High Queen, Your Royal Bitch (not an insult), and Me Mad-Horn Lord.
BACKGROUND: Most of it’s a drunken haze, honestly, but she remembers falcons, and a good pillaging every once and a while. She was kind as a child, and severely punished for her good nature and humor. Her mother used to condole her father that it would change soon enough—
“The girl is simply in her spring, dear, she doesn’t understand the great things the…the dark side holds for her. Let her frolic and waste her days in sunshine for a while…and then, dear, we shall crush her spirits.”
“You always know how to cheer me up, milady,” he would reply.
And then they would glower peaceably into one another’s eyes.
When her pet dog, Bruiser—a mangy mutt that she sic’ed on people constantly—died. There was no eloquence, and when she mourned him, her older brothers stood by and laughed. This, she liked to say, didn’t make her stronger, though, it didn’t kill her.
Despite her grandmother’s mantra of, “Whatever dunt kill ye’ll only make ye stronger, ye lil’ wart.”
One day, it would change to, “Whatever dunt kill ye’ll only…er…what was Ah sayin’?”
When she entered grammar school, to express the dominance she lacked at home, Dayita terrorized the other girls at her school, called them boy names, and soon gathered to her a pack of wolves. (Boys weren’t allowed to school because of the heavy matriarchal society.) After her dominance was established, it was soon lost and a new shame replaced it when she became the new Alpha Female’s (not even a part of the royal family, just some upstart spawn of a Count and Margravine) favorite bitch.
Although, this same Alpha Female, Suara—who somehow kept her status up and past until she turned sixteen and Dayita fifteen—took Dayita as her girlfriend. Dayita’s protests were ignored as Suara took her first kiss (Suara was an amazing kisser) and she realized that, yes, she liked girls.
A great honor.
Dayita’s mother, against her family’s will, had a taste for men and married Dayita’s father. This brought shame to them, along with the Crown Princess, Orla’s, bisexuality and Resi and Talitha’s asexuality and pansexuality. Dayita’s blatant homosexuality and Suara brought her grandmother to declare her a favorite. Even in her grandmother’s less…fluent years, this brought Dayita to a position that could’ve arguably been higher than Orla.
According to Luskarian tradition, the Crown Princess—outside of death—would stay in that position no matter what. But, Grandmother Nayati declared that Dayita would be the Archduchess of Selasvika –the kingdom’s largest archduchy—take her sister Resi’s position as Grand Princess of Acnalipy (the third largest principality, and the Duchess of Lemcury, the largest duchy. At that rate she owned around half of Luskar, and Grandmother Nayati was arguing for more.
In fact, if all had gone well for Dayita and Nayati, most of Luskar would’ve fallen into her (their) hands and Orla would’ve died ‘mysteriously’. That probably was why Orla paid to have the Incident that would plague Dayita for the rest of her life, enacted. It had been small, a lowly esquire had been paid to wrap his arms around Dayita in an iron hold and kiss her. The timing, for the esquire and Orla, had been perfect. At that moment, Her Royal Bitch had strolled around the corner with Dayita’s Mad-Horn Lord on her arm and seen the entire thing.
As soon as word got to Nayati that her pure granddaughter was really a filthy, man-loving slut, things began to unravel. Suddenly, she was no longer fit to hold Acnalipy, trolls were pushing at the borders of Lemcury and Suara—who she had become fond of—broke off their relationship. She couldn’t stand to be in a sham with a bloody breeder. To Dayita’s mortification, she had wept in her chambers for days because of it.
Suara had been a very, very good kisser.
The most ironic part was, soon after her mother had exiled her for something about extreme shows of Lawful Good and bla-bla-blah. The worst part was, she couldn’t stay mad at them because they didn’t do anything she wouldn’t have. Besides, it only supported her anarchist beliefs, and Orla was soon executed for something or the other. Mother was lucky that Nayati had something close to love for her, or she too would’ve felt the blade.
Dayita was even luckier that Nayati actually loved her as a grandmother did.
For a while she traveled with a troupe, but soon left when their wages began to dwindle and then went to work with a Thief King. However, he and his men were overly feely, so she soon left with a small fee for her troubles. In this span of nearly two years, she has never had a long lasting—almost a year—relationship with any woman as she had with Suara.
Now, she sees Anactoria’s little shindig as a good place to get back to her once high standing, and perhaps even find a woman to help her reclaim her reputation.
(She plans on entering by the use of an invitation she swiped off of her sister Resi when Dayita still lived, hid away, on the castle grounds. Resi's asexual, besides. It's not like she'd actually use it properly.)
