Rasha glanced around her at the other patrons in the pitiful looking bar. She had decided on this place to try to find some information on Demon activity in the city. Little had she known there was so much of it. It was going to take her a while to find the one who was possesed... not that time was really an issue wiht her. She would merely have to wait until the time and her prey presented itself.
She had heard there was a demon in town that was very... powerful in more than one sense of the word. Best to avoid a confrontation with such a person. it wasn't like there was a contract out on this Demon that Rasha could take up.
This bar which had seemed promising had turned out otherwise. Her glance fell around the place to the haggard looking people that had made their way in before and after her. She had had to chase off one drunk already and she was sitting in a corner where she could examine the whole room. A dingy place that looked like it would fall down. Even the little maid was really an older woman... not that many of the drunks seemed to care much after they drank enough.
She would have to leave soon and head back tot he castle. She didn't have to much time off and this was one place it would not be TOO safe to stay after dark. Ports tended to gather... unruly guest after the night hours set in. So she pulled the cloak closer to her and the hood farther down over her head not that it seemed to make her stand out less.
Listen and watch... those were the reasons why she had come, and it seemed to be one of the few things she was actually doing at the time.

Most of the inhabitants of the bar were mired in their own problems and so determined to drink them all away, that none of them looked up when the door opened again, much less looked in its direction. Two cloaked figures slid in the gloomy room, the one in front shorter than the one that followed. They held an oaken staff tightly in one hand, their head constantly moving to and fro as if scanning the room. Their faces were mostly covered by the hoods they wore, only their mouths would be visible to the casual observer.
If the one in front seemed jumpy and nervous, the one behind seemed to calmly almost float into the room, not walking so much as gliding. Her cloak fell to, and dragged across the floor.
"I dont like this place, Mistress" the person in front whispered. By her voice, if anyone was close enough to listen or care, marked her as a woman.
"It's the only place she would meet us," the other person, also a woman by the sound of it, replied. "Find us a table. I'll join you in a moment."
The frist cloaked woman all but reeled at the idea. "But, Mistress! I cant leave you unguarded here! Bianca would flay me alive if --"
"Find. Us. A. Table," the other woman said sharply. The frist woman seemed to jerk in place, her mouth snapping shut before she spun around and marched away as ordered.
She selected a table in the back, sitting down and waving away the doughy waitress who tried to take her order. She paid Rasha, at the next able over, no mind whatsoever, her eyes fixed on the back of the woman she had entered with, who was discussing something with the bar tender. The conversation was over quickly enough, and the woman again seemed to glide across the bar to join her fellow as the bar tender head into the back. They sat together at the table, leaving two chairs open across from them.
"She's here," she said, finally pulling her hood off. Teal colored hair fell in ringlets down her shoulders and back, and ran a hand through it, grimacing as her fingers caught the knots. "I was worried she'd run again."
Beside her the other woman lowered her own hood, blue hair falling to her shoulders. "Will you be taking her back, Mistress?" she asked.
Karishima sighed. Under the table her four main tentacles gathered in a loose, coiling pool. "If that's what she wants. But she's never known herself, Fiona, not really. It may be too late for her."
Fiona rested a hand on Karishima's lap... or where a lap would be, were she human. "If anyone can do it, its you, Mistress.
Karishima slumped in her chair.
"Mother Kari?" a new voice said hesitantly. Karishima looked up. The woman before her was pale as ghost, and almost as sickly in appearance. She wore a stained and threadbare camisole that only fell to her scrapped knees. Her eyes looked wearily out of deep sockets, her skin barely seeming to hang off her bones. Her feet were bare and dirty. Bu the part that froze the blood in Karishima veins was the swaddled, squirming bundle she was holding close to her chest with all her remaining strength.
A single tear rolled down her emaciated face. "Mama," she pleaded in a desperate whisper. "I need help..."

Rasha had finally managed to gain control over her thoughts in the loud room and focus on one conversation or another. Learning things about profits of this store, or slave sales of some pirates, where someone had been attacked by pirates. All usless things to her at the time. She sought but one thing in this run down Bar and that was information on a demon. For surely the thing would not be able to keep herself completely quiet even IF she was there for some ultirior motive.
However, her objective time and again seemed to not leave the lips of the patrons. She was tired of this place and it was time to move on to one last bar in this Port. As she moved to stand a presence walked through the door. Rasha forced herself back into her chair as a cold sweat broke out on her. A demon... had shown itself. She was forcing herself not to look up at the new patron to the bar and instead listened in using her fine tuned hearing to find out what was going on.
Over the many years of doing this job she had learned that Demons tended to find one another maybe this had been true about her prey this time as well. Two Women and they were meeting someone. Maybe... just maybe she had come to the right place afterall.
The first of the two seemed to be headed her way and in her mind Rasha was screaming at the girl to stop and pick a table before she arrived at the one next to hers. Damn! It seemed she was lucky yet at the same time VERY unlucky. Rasha lowered her hood more and sunk into th seat as she felt the Demon approaching. A confrontation between Demon and Hunter would not be good here.
Rasha would have to hold herself back from merely killing this Demon whom she had never met nor taken out a contract. The smell became apparent after the female demon took its place at the next table over. The smell Rasha had merely related to all demons and creatures of darkness. She had noticed early on that she put off the same smell and had immedietly set about covering it up. Something she had been unable to do after all this time.
It seemed that the person they had come to meet was there and hoping that it was in fact the demon she ahd come for she glanced up for the first time. No... it wasn't even if the demon oculd mask its presence there was no way it would take someone such as this. It had "taste" Rasha had come to learn and the girl did not fit into them.
The girl had said "Mother" and it threw Rasha for aloop in her mind. mother... surely not she doesn't seem... the same to me. Damn! it seemed she had let herself be led astray in this. the demon was surely not going to be of any use to her now, but getting up and leaving may be a worse thing to do. so she would have to wait, watch, and hope that the demon did not smell her form which had been soaked in the blood of countless demons, humans, and unnameables. over the centuries.
Her hand shook under her cloak as she waited... watched, and listened to things as they unfolded next to her.

If Karishima had any inkling of Rasha was in the room, she gave no sign, having eyes only for the woman before her. "Gods, Dana," she whispered as she stood up instinctively, half reaching for the other woman as if to hug her, but the table separated them. "What happened to you?"
Beneath the table, two long tentacle slipped out from under Karishima's dress and pushed the chair across from her out for Dana. The grateful woman took the offered seat, and the tentacles pulled the chair in place before retreating and vanishing under Karishima's hem again.
"You were right," Dana said wearily. "About everything. I should have listened to you, Mother Kari."
The look on Karishima's face could only be described as anguish. "You think I care? Dana, that stuff doesn't matter anymore. Let me take you home," her eyes flicked to the to-tiny bundle the woman held. "Both of you. We'll get you rested up, call a doctor, make this okay --" Karishima knew she was babbling but couldn't stop herself. Beside her, Fiona looked distressed but said nothing.
Dana leaned back in her chair. "It's too late for me," she said. There was no regret in her voice, just an odd sort of peace. "I did everything you warned me against and its going to kill me. Its killing me now. I dont expect to last the week."
Karishima's jaw dropped. "Then why did you ask me here? You said you needed my help!"
Dana nodded, then finally, and with effort so great her arms shook, handed the small bundle across the table.
Karishima took the bundle automatically, and looked down into a tiny pair of eyes that opened for a moment, then rolled around sleepily. The tiny mouth under neath them yawned, and the eyes closed again.
“Please take care of her for me,”Dana begged. “She'd be much better off with you than she could ever be with me.”
It took Karishima a moment to find the words. "Please come home with me, Dana. If I can't save you I can at least make your last days comfortable."
Dana's eyes fell to her lap. 'I don't deserve comfort. Mother Kari, you have no idea what I've--”
“I know I don't care.” Karishima interrupted.
The table was quite for far too long. Then, in a shaky voice, Dana said. “Do you remember when you said that when I was ready to come to my senses, you'd grant me one wish? No questions asked. All I had to do was ask and if it was in your power, I'd have it?”
Karishima nodded.
“I wish for you to raise my daughter with all the love you showed me, but never tell her who I was.”
Karishima's head snapped up. “Dana!”
“You promised, Mother Kairi,” the woman said sternly.
The half-demoness seemed to shrink in her chair. “As you wish. Does she have a name?”
When there was no answer, Karishima looked back up to see Dana's back, already crossing the room for the door. Beside her Fiona started to rise. “Shall I stop her, Mistress?”
Karishima shook her head. “I promised, Fiona.” she said, and the other woman sat down.
“What will you name her?” Fiona asked.
Karishima didn't miss a beat for her reply. Her face was shinning with tears as she looked back down at the child in her arms, then held her close to her chest, where her heartbeat could soothe it.
“Elizabeth.”

What was this overtly odd soap opera playing out beside her? It seemed that the conversation was leading her farther down a dark trail she had never wanted to venture. Did this person really think so highly of this Demon? Preposterous, and the Demon even seemed to "care" for the other's well being. An even more impossible situation.
Her gaze drifted to the side and she watched the scene play out. Unable in for some odd reason to look away. She did TRY to hide the face she was watching them and only used the corner of her eyes. Seeing as she had yet to be discovered she took that as a good sign and continued her observations of the "caring" demon.
A demon "loved" haha the word being used made her laugh in her head. and even higher impossibility than merely "caring" for the girl. It must be some form of front to control others. Rasha had learned that Demons do that sort of thing. The one she was chasing had found it amusing that it had taken her over two months to figure out it wasn't her love. It wasn't that she hadn't noticed... no it was hope that had clouded her eyes... perhaps the same was true with this girl who had just given her baby to a demon.
Should she step in and save the poor soul? Being int he clutches of a demon was a harsh existance and one she would not wish upon any let alone a new born babe. Her hands grip on her sword hilt tightened under the cloak. Her mind screamed at her to attack yet for some reason she was holding back. Perhaps she should follow the two if they left? No... Demons were slippery and she may lose the chance to save the child.
Why the Hell was she debating this? She should just ACT already. her knuckles turned white as her teeth clenched together readying for her mind to decide the ultimate course of action.

"Fly me to the moon..." Karishima sang in a low whisper, "and let me play among the stars..."
Fiona looked as though she was stealing herself before speaking. "Mistress, we should go before you are recognized. It would not be good for you image if you are seen here."
"...in other words," Karishima continued her little lullaby, "hold my hand..." she trailed of and blinked, as if remembering where she was. "Fiona, I live in the poorest part of town on the top floor of a brothel, and no one cares any longer. I doubt this bar can sully my name any."
Fiona sifted in her seat. "Still," she said. I dont like it here There's something off. Some..elusive. Like a cloying order in the air."
Karishima rocked the child in her arms, already singing to it again. "Fill my heart with song, and let me sing forever more..." her voice broke, and she fell silent. She sniffled once, then froze. Her nostrils flared as she took a deeper breath.
"Someone is here," she said, her voice suddenly void of all tenderness. "They're old. And powerful. And close."
Fiona was nearly leaped to her feet before she caught herself and merely sat up straight. Her staff, which had been laying against the side of the table suddenly flew the short distance to her hands. "Demon?" she asked, her voice low.
Karishima took another deep inhale. "I'm not sure. It smells like one, but smells human too. Not like me though. It's hard to describe." Karishima tucked the sleeping Elizabeth closer to her chest. "We're leaving. Now. To the orphanage." she fixed her gaze on Fiona. "No matter what happens, you will make sure this child reaches the orphanage. If I tell you to take her and run you will leave me behind and do so. You will use every drop of magic in your body to make sure Elizabeth gets there -- even if both of us don't." A strange sort of echoing timber slipped into her voice. "Is that clear?"
Fiona shuddered and the expression on her face could have been either pain or bliss. "Yes, Mistress," she said after a moment, sounding breathless.
"Cover my back," Karishima instructed as she stood up on her main tentacles, slipping the hood back over her head. It was only by chance she turned left instead of right, and found herself staring right at Rasha's table. Her eyes narrowed. The woman that sat there didn't look like a demon at all, but there was some primal corner of her hybrid mind that was suddenly screaming at her to run as fast as she could. The image of a rabbit happening to see the fox that was hunting it filled her mind and would not leave.
It took supreme will on her part to turn toward the door, exposing her back to Rasha, then walk toward it without sprinting.

Hmm... were they speaking of her now? Yes, there was no doubt in her mind, but what was that about her age? It seemed the Demon and her compatriot were going to attempt to leave and take the child with them. The woman who was obviously the demon turned her direction and Rasha was glad she was huddled down under the cloak. The woman’s glance was enough to make her jump slightly.
She knew... of that it was obvious and now they were beating the hasty retreat. Rasha could not allow that to happen. She would have to save the child. What she would do with the babe after rescuing it was a concern for a later time. Right now she had to get it away from the Demon and her compatriot. The Human... or she assumed it was a human as the one she had been watching could just have been giving off a stronger smell and blanketing the others who seemed the stronger fighter. However... she knew nothing of this Demon and her human appearance gave Rasha a chill that ran down her spine.
As the woman’s back turned on her and she started away Rasha leapt to her feet the chair banging down behind her and her cloak fell from her body. In a flash her sword was out and a darkness spread from under her feet blanketing the room and removing all light. Even the dim candles that still burned seemed to have gone out, the moons glow which had filtered through both the door and the windows disappeared from view as if they were in a space void of all light, all comfort, and all hope. She felt the familiar chill seep into her skin that came with the darkness that now engulfed them and welcomed it as it would soon be just as her heart cold and lifeless.
Those patrons of the bar that were sober enough to realize something was wrong ran for the entrance, or what they assumed to be the entrance tripping over their companions, tables, and chairs. The noise of their terror filled screams echoed in the small room. Luckily Rasha and the demon had been in the back corner. No patrons had come near enough to her and it was a clear shot to the Demon.
Bounding over the tables and chairs with ease she managed to get in front of the Female Demon and she pointed her sword its way. Could the demon see her? Hear her? What about the girl that was with her? Two on one was not a good idea, but the human... or whatever it may be should have at least a small handicap in the impenetrable darkness that surrounded them. One that Rasha did not. Seeing through such darkness was easy for the one who created it... and one who LIVED in darkness. However... she was afraid of the demon it... may well not have the same handicap that her companion did. That would make things more difficult… and if the Demon could see it merely showed her power all the more.
Her sword point faced directly at the demons head swaying away from the chest and the child that was pressed there. Her pulse quickened even more now that the blade was in her hand and she felt her emotions fading. "Hold Demon... What is it you wish to do with the Child?" Why was she asking such foolish questions? She should just end it now, but she stayed her hand. Maybe fear had something to do with it. Could the Demon give her an answer that would satisfy her... she doubted that, but she did SEEK an answer that would not force her into a conflict she may well lose.
She knew far too little of these two and though the same could be said of them to her it would still be far too difficult a fight.

Karishima was no stranger to darkness. As a shadow sorceress herslef, and part-demon besides, magical darkness was familiar to her, and as it filled the room sending the other patrons into a literal blind panic, its touch lapped at her main tentacles like the tongue of a faithful dog that has been too long without its master. It did not rob her of her senses at all. Beside her Fiona was not so lucky, gasping as she was robbed of sight. Reflexively, two-arms sized tentacles slipped out from under her dress, sliding across the floor to Fiona. Some wrapped around her waist, and nudged her there, orientating her. The other coiled its way up to her right arm to the wrists steadying the hand that held her staff.
What did scare Karishima though was the speed at which the darkness had been summoned into being. This woman was powerful in darkness. Had lived it a long, long time. And as she suddenly found a sword in her face, it occurred to the hybrid that despite her century and change of life and demon blood, there were still things greater than her. It was sobering thought, and she welcomed it. Perspective, no matter what form it took, was always a good thing to learn.
Karishima made eye contact with her attacker. "Keep my promise to her mother," she said. "I will take her to the Elizabeth Riley Memorial Orphanage. There she will be cared for, loved, and taught by the best physicians, matrons, and teachers in the Empire. She will be surrounded by other children who have lost their parents, and from that common ground she will form friendships and loves that will last a lifetime. She will be given every opportunity and resource gold and my connections can acquire to ensure when she comes of age, she will have all the skills and freedom to lead whatever kind of life she chooses."
Steel entered her voice then. "And if its is your plan to stop me from doing this, the only demon I see here is you. Fiona, if you please?"
On cue, Fiona raised her staff in the air, before slamming the base on the ground. Blue-white light exploded from the impact point, washing over furniture and person alike without hurting them, as it driving the cloying darkness back as it spread. At the same time, Karishima twisted away from the sword, bending herself back and to the right at a seemingly impossible angle, child still held tightly to her chest, and she suddenly jumped into the air.
The fabiric of her gown from the hips down all but exploded in shower of fabric as she flew back and right, her four main tentacles now fully exposed, and countless more emerging among them. Those purple-pink limbs seized every random chair and table they were able to find, and tossed each of them at the woman with the sword in turn. At the same time, Kairhsima finished her jump, to land on the wall, beside Fiona, standing up.
Then and only then did she left go of the still sleeping babe, placing her in Fiona's arms. "Go," she commanded. Fiona took the child, holding her close with one arm and she raised her staff with the other. There was blast of air that sounded like thunder, and the nearby window shattered outward. Fiona jumped though it a moment latter.
Karishima turned her full attention back to the woman that smelled like a demon but also not at all like a demon. Freed from the darkness, the patrons that had not managed to escape were looking on at the stand-off in confusion and anticipation.
"What are you?" Karishima challenged, her many tentacles waving angrily in the air, ready for an attack. "Why did you attack me?!"

Rasha listened intently to the woman noting the snaking tentacles. Hmm… a strange demon. Just how many of those things were hidden under that dress? The more there were the harder things would be if it came to a fight. So she listened to the Demon or as it had become quite clear “half-Demon” worse than even the full blood of either species it belonged to. Humans were cruel and heartless beings given the right circumstances and Demons in most cases were always that way. What made the female Demon think she was going to believe the words she spoke.
The woman had made eye contact with her before speaking and Rasha had out of some form of “respect” for the being locked her midnight green eyes on the others. Though her wary eyes darted to the companion every few seconds just to be sure nothing was going on she could not entirely see. She could not afford any mistakes and yet she was destined to make one.
A shiver ran down her spine as the woman’s tone took on a new aspect and it threw her off guard slightly. Enough to allow the other woman to use some other form of magic… which felt like light magic or at least somewhat. The familiar burning sensation crawled over her skin as her darkness was beat back by that blue-white light. A grimace crossed her face as she stepped back away from it and blinked her eyes to throw off the glare.
The woman it seemed immediately flew into attack mode and Rasha was dodging things as best she could as they flew her way. A chair leg caught her left arm though and spun her around before she could catch her balance and reorient. So far it seemed the Demon was only using the purely physical means of assault and that would give Rasha the upper hand should the demon woman only be able to do that… Rasha had the unpleasant feeling it wasn’t.
She allowed the other woman to leave though seeing as she had been gifted with the destination. Her darkness filling back in the void the woman had left with that magic afterwards. She had sensed a surprising amount of truth in the woman’s words shortly before and as she glared at the retreating form of the woman named Fiona she knew she would be able to find the babe at the orphanage should things go well here.
Rasha’s arm throbbed at the new bruise that should heal within the next 24 hours. However it hurt like hell until that time and would hinder her fighting ability. She would have to rely more on her magical side in this fight should it drag on fro to long. Not to mention she was totally outmatched in close range. No matter how fast or skilled she was there was no way for her to get close enough for an attack through the defense of those tentacles. It didn’t mean she wouldn’t try just that it would most probably fail… or hurt like hell if the throbbing in her arm and strength of the flying furniture leant any insight.
“Why do you wish to know Half Breed?” Rasha asked as she edged slowly to the right and away from the small fire that had sprung up from a tipped lamp due to the woman’s assault. She brought her left arm straight out and clenched her fist extinguishing the small fire using the dark and cold of the room to choke it out. “As I see it, the throbbing pain in my left arm means you attacked first. I merely threatened to attack. I was here to save a child from the clutches of a demon. Who for all I knew… or still know is going to use her in the future for ill intent, should the child be allowed to live that long.”
Rasha’s gaze never left the woman who seemed quite attached to that wall. An interesting aspect she would have to note for future reference. Yet another advantage the woman had. Luckily Rasha had been given a larger playing field with the loss of some chairs and tables that now lay behind her in pieces near the far wall. A horrifying thought should she be thrown like a doll as well.
A small black flame appeared in her left hand as she stopped moving right and steadied herself. If the woman made a move to close she would use the fire. Its effects would have to be seen firsthand as Rasha had yet to face a Demon like this even in the half breed section.

"I dont know what backwards wild you crawled from," Karishima replied, her tone icy. "But in polite society we consider a blade being shoved in one face to be an attack. Especially when it us preceded with a shroud of dark magic. Was either necessary? Did it ever occur to you could have simply asked what I was going to do with the child? Better still, were you not close enough to heart her mother beg me to take care of her? Made me swear? Use up a promised wish? I would have done anything for Dana, as I would any of my children. But this is what she asked of me. And it will take a mightier being than you to stop me."
So great was the half-demon's rage, that gone was Karishima the business woman, the courtesan, or the surrogate mother. Rasha now faced the person that even the dark under belly of Venus only spoke of in whisper: The Spider. Several of her tentacles raced across the splintered window frame window making shallow cuts in her pure-pink flesh. Red blood flowed from each, then stopped, and twisted themselves the air forming a sword. Aside from the four tentacles tentacles anchoring her to the wall, each tentacle how held a scimitar made from Karishima's own blood. The wavered in the air about her, but did not move to attack. Yet.
"Turn and go." she warned. "If you leave now, and give me your word you will not remove the child from the home I have made for her, this will be the end of it. I will not seek you out. There will be no retribution. But if so much a the wind of your passing by in the opposite direction so much as tickles a hair on her head, or if you are fool enough to strike at me now, they will never find you body."
Karishima held her hands before her, and arcs of purple-black lightening leaped from finger tip to finger tip. "I know now what you are. A demon hunter. People like you killed my father, who's only crime was loving a human woman. People like you have broken into my home, my business, looking to kill me for no other reason than because I exist. When this city was failing under weakened human leaders, I kept it afloat. When children were orphaned my senseless wars, perpetrate by still more humans, I saved them from poverty. When the world weary and the stressed come looking for relaxation and pleasure, I provide it. For this, people like you think I should die? And they call me a demon.
"Make your choice, human. Will you die here tonight, or will you go in peace?"

Rasha listened to the woman and watched her. Why was it her business? True it really wasn’t but she trusted Demons in the aspect of human care so little you may as well say it was nonexistent. However, she held her peace and waited for the woman to finish her long and drawn out speech. A speech that shortly took on a tone that sent the earlier downward chill rushing back up Rasha’s spine. The magic that happened before her next she found hard to classify. Blood Magic maybe or some form of dark though it rankled of both, and she hadn’t seen it’s like as of yet. She stood there staring at the veritable wall of bloody swords. A sobering sight… there was no winning in close range with this being it would be all magical. If winning was even an option here anymore. A smile crossed her lips as the demon went on. One that may have seemed a bit out of place not only a face that hardly smiled, but in the conversation that was going on as well. A light laugh escaped her lips as she slowly sheathed her sword. With her injured left arm she hardly stood a chance against the demon’s speed and strength. Striking fear of some kind into her was hardly worth the trouble, but she dared not leave with merely a laugh and s smile. The black flame in her left hand went out and she stared at the woman for a few moments. The air a few moments ago had been hot enough to make her sweat, but it now grew colder by the second until her breath was misting before her then colder still. This was not a dark cold of the mind caused by the blanketing of black that engulfed them. “Let’s get this straight ‘Half-Breed’. I WILL check up on the girl in due time. Whether that time be tonight, in a few years, or when she is old and grey. Should I find that anything went… amiss with her you will see me again. No matter the difficulty or resulting possibility of mine own death I will slay you. Not for some reward as my fellow ‘demon hunters’ would.” she basically spat the word giving off her total hatred of the profession and those that walked it. “but because it is YOUR kind that love to kill and take what Human’s have. Humans fear you because of this and that fear drives them to kill you.” “Perhaps you sought some form of pity giving me your life story or were showing your rage in the fact that some people killed your family some humans or what not purged this city long ago? Perhaps by your good deeds thus far you think to change the image of Demons in my head that has built over centuries? I will hunt and slay your kind until I have found the one I seek, and when it is dead… then there will be one less hunter in this world.” Why had she told the half breed? Who knew, maybe she hoped somewhere in her mind that this Demon WAS as good as she said she was and may assist her in some way. However, if that was what she hoped she would show no forthright sign. Rasha turned and headed for the door at a slow walk. All of her senses turned up to max so if the Demon made a move at her back she would be prepared. She stopped at the door and turned to face the other as the darkness in the bar receded. And then light could be seen from what few lamps were still active. “Should you run across a demon of possession while this ‘event’ is going on do try to find me at the castle… or palace. She will undoubtedly be trying to work her new body into the future Queen’s good graces and perhaps even seeking something that should be out of her reach. I do not know how much you ‘care’ for this town or its people half-breed, but should she gain power she WILL start a war. Then you will have that many more orphans to take care of.” She turned to leave again and as she did she knocked a glass of what had been water off a table and the glass shattered sending ice scattering across the floor. “Do try to leave before you freeze to death hmm.” Rasha said as she pushed the door open. Maybe she should visit the child sooner rather than later? A vile taste in her mouth told her not to visit another bar tonight she had enough for one day. Besides she only had 32 hours until that time. There were preparations to make in a city full of demons when your very smell attracted them like ants to food disposed by their hill. OOC: if you want we can keep this one going somehow, start a new one, or say goodbye forever ; ;. Either way I don't think the old bar could take much more before it collapsed
